DISNEYLAND!!!

Well, Since It's spring break we are taking the kids to Disneyland again tomorrow! we are so excited! We never get bored with it, seriously. The annual passes are worth it. Anytime we can go back and forth when ever we like. Hubby likes Disneyland better than Universal, so we have a whole day dedicated to the happiest place on earth! :D

Big is beautiful

Are you tired of me blabbing about weight loss? I don't. The more I talk about it, the more I inspire people to be aware of Obesity. I've been there and It's terrible! I am so glad I didn't get to be 300 lbs and gain sicknesses before I have a wake up call. I gain Inspirations from watching programs like Celebrity fit club, The biggest loser, and reading women magazines that talk about eating healthy and being fit. I don't wish to look like a model, I just wish to be fit and healthy so I can live longer and be active along with my kids. When I watch programs on TV that tackle about Obesity, and got to see people undergo Bypasses, really made my heart bleed. I felt sorry for them, for majority of them died at a young age. It was truly a wake up call. Big is indeed beautiful but we all need to get rid of the bad habits before it's too late.

It's TUMBLR TIME!

When tumblr started, I wasn't really into it. I didn't register for an account, the reason is I might just abandon it after a few days. I get bored easily. I love uploading photos, who doesn't? I wasn't really interested at that time. After a few years, A lot of people are having their own tumblr accounts, Now I checked it out again and woahh, I am hooked! It's an awesome site, I may say. It's like a scrapbook, collection of pictures of just about anything. So, if you have a tumblr, follow me over here ------------> Doodle kitty see you there!!!

lab tests

I had an appointment today for my blood test. My arm is hurting so bad right now. When I went home I cooked hubby some scrambled eggs with garlic, I was so hungry, It's been 14 hours of no food and drinks! I was also grumpy. I needed to eat. Thank goodness, It's all over. I have another appointment this time with the doctor on April 5. I'm just praying I'm healthy... I have 11 lbs. before I leave the 200th mark, that would be a piece of cake. I still can't stop reading about weight loss supplements like these natural fat burners. I don't think I'm ready to take any of them yet, because every time I do I end up not using it anymore and I'm back to square one again. Sucks. But maybe It will work out for you, who knows. You just have to try it out and see for yourself.

FINALLY!

SO, we finally got to meet, after 9 years! I am so happy! We weren't complete because the others couldn't make it. They were my high school buds way back freshmen year. :) We met up at National City, close to Sea food city supermarket. We ate breakfast at Goldilocks, we all ordered Tapsilog. Jazel, on my right brought along her BF. While Donna on my other side was 6 months pregnant. I envy them, because they are wearing sundresses! I can't wait to get back to my old weight which is 130. I want to be as girly as I can hehehe. We chit-chatted for about 2 hours and we all parted ways. After 2 days, we found out that Jazel just got engaged! We saw her post her engagement ring on facebook, so lovely! We were so happy for her, they look alike, too. :) No wonder when we asked them if wedding bells are coming soon, The BF couldn't say anything. So funny! Anyhoo, It was fun... I hope to see them again soon.

weight loss update

It has been a good week. No, a great week. Why? because hubby and me are doing so great with our weight loss. So far in just 2 months, he has lost at least 25 lbs. not bad, huh? I myself had lost a total of 36 lbs! but that took me 5 months, very slow progression, but at least I am doing it 1 lb at a time. I just don't know how my body works, really. It is better to work 3 to 4 days a week, when I have 2 to 3 days rest, I seem to lose weight more. I looked at my weight loss log book:

March 21, 2010 - 216 lbs.

March 24, 2010 - 212 lbs.

I am so thrilled! I don't really starve myself either, once in awhile we eat fast food, I still eat rice (only a cup), I still get to eat cookies and chocolate (1 or 2 only, It's just amazing! When it comes to snacks, I eat the veggie strips, for cookies I choose oatmeal raisin. I just more around a lot and instead of using our elevator at work - I use the stairs and climb fast as I can. When I am going home from work, like on hot days, I open the car window a little bit so I don't have to use the AC. I brisk walk most of the time and sleep as much I can, you burn a lot while sleeping. Weights are very helpful, too. I do a lot of cardio like treadmill, elliptical and cycling. I don't get to attend classes as I used to since they have different schedules. One thing is for sure though, I am not going back to weight loss pills. It's up to you if your body is really not working out as you expected, maybe you need a weight supplement like adipex diet pills. I suggest to talk to your doctor before taking any of these, It's just to know whether it's right for you or not. Good luck!

ack! acne!

I think the worst case of Acne that I had was around 11 years old, I believe. My forehead were covered with lil tiny bumps, sorta resembled like a rash. So anyway, It only stayed for a year and after that, my skin cleared up. I guess every body experiences that going through puberty. What I hate about my skin is once I get too comfortable with a certain acne product, the acne doesn't go away anymore so the only solution is to move on to another product again. It's crazy, I know! I've read about the actress Kristin Kreuk, she's the same way as I am when it comes to facial washes. So far, I'm only prone to acne when I have my daily visitor, my red alert days. Other than that, My skin's ok. As long as I wash my face squeaky clean every day before going to sleep. If you are having problems and store bought acne creams are not working for you, go to www.acnecuresrevealed.net to find that right product for you. Not everyone's skin are designed to be the same, so not all creams work for you. Instead you need to find and test the right product for your skin. I do hate acne, I swear - so what are you waiting for? GO!

heart to heart

I saw my weight this morning. I was 216! I can't believe it?? Then after working out, my weight was down to 214, yaaayy! I ate spring rolls with chili sauce around break time at work, It's very light for the tummy. I am so happy with the result, I feel so inspired! Me and hubby have a total of 7 medals for the 24 hour fitness rewards program, we need 24 medals to get a BODYBUGG! I think in about a year, we WILL get a bodybugg since we go to the gym 4 to 6 times a week. :)

I was kinda grumpy awhile ago... I was so hungry! I only ate toasted cinnamon cereal for dinner, so I went downstairs and heated up the remaining sinigang and fried rice from Mandarin. The grumpyness was gone, thank goodness. Hubby weighs about 192 now (I know, he is lighter than me) His target is to at least get down to 160 lbs. I need to reach my goal of 130 before I can get pregnant again. I have 2 years to reach it! Hubby bought the prepaid one at Costco for $299.99, that's $12.50 a month, very cheap! I was soooo happy. My hubby decided to just pay for $29.99 each month.

We had a heart to heart talk... As some of you know, my husband is planning on joining the US Army, he's turning 38 this year and he still has time to join. If I was a bit lighter, I'd join the Navy, too. But hubby said I'll only do that when worse comes to worst. We have a back up plan, which is me. :) To tell you the truth, Joining the military is still an open option for me. With retired Navy Uncles, my dad, brothers-in-law, and my cousins who are all in the Navy are doing pretty well with their lives. I've grown up knowing about the military. I didn't get to experience moving around like what usual Navy brats do, because my dad retired when I was still a baby. You have great benefits, too. Nothing compares with the military lifestyle. Sure, a lot of people hate it because you move around a lot. But it will teach you a lot of things in life that you won't regret someday.

So my husband asked me again, If I was ready. I kinda got choked up, I was scared. I wanted to burst in tears. But I gave him an approval, he promised me he was doing it for us, because he loves us so much and we needed to start again somewhere. My husband is strong, and I need to be strong and supportive for him. Oh my, I can't imagine being an Army wife! (sigh) I just hope God guides us with the right decisions... My husband also asked if he ever makes it to the military, Hope we'll be adding another addition to the family, I am so excited - I really want to get pregnant soon! :D I miss being preggo! (LOL) If I'll get that out of the way, I can get into Nursing school soon! Hubby will take Nursing as well...

my future plans :)

Ever since I was a kid, I dreamed of being a Fashion designer. I drew clothes every day, And my dad saw my potential and told me to stick with my dreams because someday I might just be one of those fashion designers who own her own clothing line. Don't get me wrong, I love fashion but I'm not that fashionable in real life, I'm just a plain jane who loves to dress comfortably and just wear what I please.

Because my parents separated when I was young, I tucked that dream profession and never went back. Our house was always a mess, plenty of paper everywhere! sketch pads here and there, stacks and stacks of notebooks, bond papers and just about anything we could draw on, my parents kept everything. And since we moved a lot, most of our drawings were lost and got thrown away. It was just so sad because I still wanted to see those sketch pads full of clothes designed by me.

I've always told myself, maybe someday that dream would come true. I would love to own a boutique of my own, I told hubby about that simple dream of mine. I really have to start somewhere, right? Maybe in the near future, I'd like to open my own etsy shop for everything made by me. Pillow cases, bags, picture frames, vases, etc. I love to sew (not very good at it yet), crochet, scrap... I just love everything crafty and artsy. I believe in starting small and maybe later on in life would expand into my very own label. Who knows, right?

It's great to dream, and my life long dream is to have a small, shabby chic-classic boutique full of girly, comfy, warm, organic and affordable stuff that anybody can enjoy. My fave store in Hawaii is the Cinnamon girl boutique. I love that store! That's the kind of boutique I want in the near future, except I will have my own style, of course. Plus, there should be a good name for it, too.

I want to do a lot of my things in my life, you know. Like finish college, That's another thing. When time permits, I'll find the time to make it happen. I'm also thinking of opening up a zazzle.com shop, too. I have so much in my mind I don't know where and when to start...

All I know is... when time comes, and in God's will, It will happen. :)

9 years

After 9 long years, I'll finally get to see my two close friends back in first year high school. I knew Donna way back in grade school around the 4th grade, we weren't classmates then, Only until the 5th grade up to 1st year high school in the methodist school I went to, That's when we got closer as friends. After 1st year, I got accelerated to third year and Made new friends there. We'd say Hi and Hello once in awhile, but that's about it. Our other friend Jazel, spent 3 months here in San Diego, now she's going back to Florida since Winter is done. Donna texted me and told me we should all hang out even for 2 hours because she leaves on the 28th of march, since I have a busy schedule I managed to squeeze in a little time. We'll probably have breakfast somewhere in National City, so It's pretty close. :) I'll have to bring my camera tomorrow, I'm really excited! It will be a long time since we'll see each other again. I'm really shy, They might not notice that It's me, All this weight and all... OH, GOLLY! (sigh)

eek- eczema!

Nathan's skin is doing great so far. We noticed he had eczema when he was a baby. His face looked awful! poor thing, I thought It wouldn't go away. Thanks to my mother-in-law, She took cotton balls and soaked it with water and patiently washed Nate's face a few times a day. I guess the skin was fully hydrated so It went away. His legs are my only problem, though. But Cetaphil had done a great job, It was the only unscented lotion that worked for him ever since he was a baby. I am pretty sure there are still a lot of products out there that fights this skin problem, we just need to ask our doctor what's the best product they would recommend.

seeking employment?

I know, It's hard. I can't believe up to now People are still looking for employment opportunities. The recession really affected a lot of people, It's just so sad to think about it. Even College graduates grab anything, Whatever it takes, As long as they have a job It really doesn't matter anymore. That's why working for 24 hours every 2 weeks is not that bad, I get to have medical/dental insurance for my family, paying the premiums doesn't really bother me at all. I am so thankful to God for giving us this great opportunity. I remember in Hawaii, A lot of people work two to three jobs in order to have medical insurance. So before you grumble about your job, because we all know how hard it is... We've all been there - You need to think about the thousands of people out there struggling to make ends meet. Think about it. ;)

SO CUTE!

This cute little art belongs to: Happy monsters. This was shared by my niece this morning, She was about to leave but spent a minute more in the computer to print it out, She wanted to show me something cute. I fell in love with it, because this is how I usually draw when I'm bored at work, I do a lot of doodles here and there. I'm thinking of going back to my pen tablet and just draw my heart out. :)

reminds me of...

Every time I smell a certain kind of scent It reminds me of something that happened earlier in my life. It can be good or bad memories, Like for example If I smelled a certain perfume on someone which was the exact scent I was wearing when I had the chicken pox back in high school, I quickly turn away from it f.or it was a terrible time for me and really ruined my skin (LOL) Or a certain cologne scent I was wearing in college and It reminds me of some boy, I really despise it and I turn away from it. Now when scents like those of my mom and dad's perfumes when I was a kid, I suddenly miss my childhood days. I wanted to be a kid again. When I smelled hubby's favorite perfume the first time, I think I really fell for him :). So every time that scent comes across I always remember the time he first came to my house and picked me up for our first date. That's the very first time we met. <3

Now, when It comes to music It's also the same thing. My dad's music ranging from rock and roll and heavy metal to all 80's music like Sting and the Police, Joe Satriani, Phil Collins, Michael Bolton, you name it - I really enjoy listening to some of his music because it reminds me of my Childhood years. My dad was a simple person. But I'll talk about him again later on, I want to tell you how I dislike listening Chris Brown's forever song. No, not because he had beaten up Rihanna (silly). It was playing on air while I was driving to see my brother at the Hospice care. I brought his funeral clothes along and I didn't knew it was the last time I was going to see him. So every time Forever comes on, I change the station. Too bad, It was one of my favorite songs, too! So even in my playlists, That song is nowhere to be found. It was just too sad... (sigh) Do you guys have stories to share with me? What certain perfumes and Songs reminds you of?

One tooth down!

So, Nate lost his tooth last friday (02-26-10). That day was also his dental appointment. Since he has One tooth growing in the back on one of his lower front teeth They have to take out two! So we found out that we're supposed to pay $282 for Monday's estimated co-payment. But lo and behold, A few minutes later She told us that If we can accept the Monday appointment Since somebody cancelled, She can Waive the $175. God is so great! What a blessing! Thank you, God!

It costs about $39 per tooth, It's Minus one so It's all good! We were so happy because our payment was cut in half, yaaayyy!

I really believe in good karma. When you love one another and do good things to others It always comes back to you. :)

spice it up

We're not talking about food here, just to let you know. I'm just reading some extenze reviews that are specifically for men. Not that we need it right now but we just want to gather some information about these stuff. It's good to read reviews before you purchase a product, that way there will be no regrets in the end. When you know there is a problem between you and your significant other, A few reviews of the product might be helpful to solve the problem and also save your marriage. Great, Isn't it?

weight lose update

So It's almost 5 months since I joined the gym. So far I have lost a total of 32 lbs. Hubby is doing great as well, he has lost a lot of weight and is under 200 lbs now. I am so proud of him. We have switched to a healthy lifestyle and We are never going back to what we were before. Hubby is a total gym addict now, You can call him a gym freak (LOL). When I work middle shift on some days, he usually goes to the gym in the mornings after dropping the kids off at school. Then in the afternoon after I work I go and fetch him at home and we both go the gym. It's a lot of hard work losing weight, but the result gives you an amazing feeling. I do cardio most of the time, preferably the elliptical, stationary bikes and treadmill. I do miss my kickboxing and cycling classes, Their times are different from my work schedule so I can't really go. On some days I make sure I lift weights for all parts of my body. I can feel the sides of my waist being a bit hard when I touch it. My thighs and legs are beginning to have muscles, too. When you're exercising, I think It's better to take some kind of supplement like that quick trim weight loss supplement those Kardashian Sisters are promoting on TV. It will probably make you lost weight fast, any supplement out there needs exercise in order to work. But always make sure to ask your doctor before taking anything, just in case. ;)

Spring break

Well, It's almost here! My Sister-in-law is planning for a trip to San Francisco. I am excited, but we're not really sure if we are going, though. Hubby suggests we just go to Disneyland again :). Well, There will be always a time to visit San Fran anyway, we are not in a hurry. By the way, Nathan is doing great with his school. Everyday, we practice him with his reading fluency and each day he reads more words per minute. We also time him for adding and subtracting facts up to 12. So far, He is doing pretty awesome, thank God. Kudos to my husband and SIL for keeping up with him, most of the time I'm at work and I only help him with his homework 2 days in a week since those are my days off. It's about 12:05 am. I need to get some shut eye, I'm pretty darn tired, I feel like a vegetable but before anything else, I need to head on over knewton.com about this LSAT prep, It just might help me someday, even you - who knows.

Cancelled Shamu show

How tragic, A trainer was killed by Sea world's orca whale. Because of this, They really have to think about keeping Large ocean predators in Marine themed parks. Read more at Sign on San Diego.
For me, I think It's better if they just showcase the whales the way they are and not associate people into the waters along with them. We all know any wild animal trained or not would definitely defend itself If it's vulnerable to any harm coming It's way. We don't know how animals think. Scary isn't it? Even those cute dolphins! There are also reports of dolphin attacks Just about anywhere in the world. And to think I was raised in believing They wouldn't hurt a single soul. But I don't blame them, Any creature of this world would always have a chance to act differently at a certain time. We just need to be very careful.

shoo, wrinkles!

I know, I know... We all hate wrinkles, That's what we all say! So, WHAT is the best solution to that? I say BE HAPPY! Just kidding (LOL) but It's true, smiling is better than frowning, you know. But if You are into gels, creams and whatnot - Then an anti wrinkle face cream is better for you. I've never tried any of those face wrinkle creams, do they really work? I don't know, I swear if I start to see one wrinkle on my face, I'll probably be joining the anti-wrinkle bandwagon, shouting go wrinkle cream go!

no more wrinkles, please!

There is one thing more thing most people out there are scared of, besides from death - is aging! I myself can admit that. A few days ago, As I was reading some celebrity news I just realized one of my favorite actresses who is about 1 year older than me has crows feet! Just a few years ago Her face was so refreshing and young, but now with all that make up on her face, It seems she had aged a few years. It couldn't even hide her flaws. I felt bad for her because, c'mon she's a celebrity! With her money, she can have all those expensive anti aging face face creams out there. I looked at myself in the mirror, Thank God - no crows feet! yikes. Being a celebrity can be quite hard no matter what age you are. Stressing out can be bad for your health and your skin, So we need to take good care of it while we can. ;)

Very proud :)

Celina, her mom and her brother just got home... and guess what??? She won lots of awards and Their decathlon team won for the state championship, So they are going to Sacramento!! I'm so happy for her and her team. They have worked so hard and they deserved that. I am very privileged to see Her and her brother grow up, It's a very special feeling, you know. :) I'm hoping my son would do the same as well some day, although I am not expecting much from my son but I know he would do well in school and he'll be special in his own way. My son is very creative, he enjoys drawing and coloring and He aces his spelling quizzes all the time. Just seeing those 100% signs written on each paper he brings home just brings joy to our hearts. He reminds me of me, at that age I was in spelling bee contests all the time and brought home medals. I think It was the only thing I was best at besides from art. We try to give our best attention to our son because we know he will have the benefit of doing much better in school. Since I work, my husband usually helps our son do his homework making sure he does everything and not miss anything. When I get home I double check everything again. My sister-in-law is very happy because her children just gives her the best honors ever. It sure takes a lot to be one happy, proud parent. ;)

my weight loss journal

I just realize this blog has been turned into my very personal weight loss journal. I was planning on making another blog for that, But I was thinking since everyone comes here anyway I decided not to make one anymore. I love documenting everything that has happened to me. so far, It has been great and I appreciate for my friends coming by once in awhile to see what's up with me. It doesn't really matter if you comment or not,Like me - I usually lurk around my favorite blogs and I rarely comment or drop a tag. The same thing with you guys, I don't expect anything from anyone. Keeping this journal gives me the benefit of keeping my memories alive. When I need something that I don't remember I usually just visit my blog and look at my archives. Anyways, back into the weight loss subject. Back in 2004 I tried a weight loss pill and I lost a few pounds but after stopping, I gained it all back. It was entirely my fault, I totally stopped exercising and didn't maintain my weight. My friend at work once took hydroxycut and she told me that she did lose her belly fat! It was completely flat. I was amazed by the result, but didn't bother taking it anymore. I was thinking that every person is different you know, It might not work for you but It just might work on me.

almost there...

But not quite. Not yet. What am I talking about? Well, It's all about how to reduce stomach fat. Yeah, I think we all need to do this, especially me, I'm not getting any younger. Most of my co-workers are telling me that they regret it not losing weight before they reached their thirties, now It is so hard for them to lose the belly fat. I don't want to be like that, not in a million years! So, While It's early I need to lose weight as much as I can in a about a year, I'm taking my time. I enjoy going to the gym along side hubby and we are doing a great progress! I have lost a total of 30 lbs. and I am so proud of it! Hubby lost about 50 lbs now, he had a huge belly but now I can see his ribs now, hopefully I can say bye-bye belly fat in no time.

OH MY GOODNESS!!! part 2

If you were a long time follower of my blog, You probably know about THIS post of mine way back then. Today, after arriving from LA, Hubby told me about the news he received. We are so upset about this situation. I can't believe when they found that van that day they didn't even bother fixing it - after all, we did give them the confirmation that we are not responsible anymore for the said vehicle since we traded it in at the dealership around march 7, 2007. It's just plain ridiculous, now after almost 3 years we receive a news that we are being sued? That's plain wrong. My hubby contacted them and they informed him to write a check for a payment for some kind of cancellation fee and write a letter of explanation plus documents for proof that we are telling the truth, That we did trade it in 2 weeks back. When we found out about that, Hubby wanted to sue badly, but since we are very GOOD people, We decided to just forget about it and move on.

purchasing a home

Buying a new home is pretty impossible at this time. We still have to wait and make sure everything falls into place. All we have to do is wait for the right time. Buying a home is not easy, You need to make sure that It will be the best thing ever because Once you buy it - It will be hard to turn back. You need to make a list of everything you need to consider when Purchasing a home. I was thinking maybe that's why we didn't buy a house in Hawaii because maybe It wasn't meant to be. I am pretty sure we will find a home that's perfect for us, We might not find it today, but We will find one for our growing family soon. Well, there are Dallas homes for sale at scgd.org, I want to go check it out and see what they got, Maybe you should, too.

a slingbox?

To tell you the truth I really didn't know this gadget existed. But why am I so surprised? Most of the gadgets today are pretty cool and makes our lives more easier every day. I'm a gadget person, So is my husband - so whenever a new gadget comes out We get really excited because nowadays we need to be smart in purchasing the best electronics out there that can help us in the easiest ways. Look at this Slingbox, I am thinking of getting this for hubby. What do you think? My husband loves his T.V., He is so glued to it, I'm telling you. This makes a great gift for those TV lovers out there. Pretty cool, huh?

scary

As a kid, We had lived in houses that had peeling paint almost in every room. Me and my brother would peel them off until my mom told us to stop. I think I had chewed some myself, I wasn't quite sure. We didn't know much about the harmful stuff it can do to us especially for younger kids! Just thinking about it just gives me the creeps. If we weren't aware of these conditions we would end up having mesothelioma. Scary, isn't it? That's why when we were in Hawaii, the condo unit had peeling paint close to the vent, and I caught my son peeling it off. I was so alarmed but I knew he didn't ingest any of it, thank God. We took care of it as well as the other walls inside the unit. We just have to very careful especially in older homes that were built long time ago. Not like today, most homes are free from Asbestos, thank God for that.

never ending to-do list

I don't know about you but I can't seem to finish my to-do tasks. Are you the same? pretty much, huh. I make a long list of to-do's on my phone and little blank pieces of paper but I couldn't seem to get them finished. Here's some of it:

- Organize computer files (delete, organize and back up)
- download more scrap freebies (hoarder!)
- Organize scrap kits (and back up) - Organize closets
- finish Gully's website
- upload more pictures on facebook
- scrap, scrap, scrap!
- update blogs (revamping time)
- finish the pixel site - visit blogs! - study Japanese and spanish - Organize our bill statements

Well, that wasn't so much, was it? I can't imagine myself doing all of this in one day. I have split days off and when I am finally off We have stuff to do as a family. SOOOOOOO busy! Oh well, let me just read about this MWF filter that I saw at Filtersfast.com. Who knows we might just need it someday, or maybe you need one yourself.

weight loss update :)

OK, It's the 1st of February and we all know It's the month of hearts once again! and LOVE will surely be every where. (sigh) It's been 4 months now since I started working out so far, I weighed in at 223 today using the GYM's scale, I probably weigh less than 223 since I have all my clothes on as well as my shoes. That's a total of 25 lbs. lost. It's really hard to lose weight, sometimes It goes down and sometimes you gain it back, It takes weeks before you lose a pound! But It's alright, I am taking my time, since It's better that way than losing weight dramatically, right?

Me and hubby were at the Hospital this morning for his blood test and while waiting for his turn we were talking about babies.. hehee, BABIES - I know! He told me that he wants to at least have 2 more kids and this time We'll probably have shorter age gaps this time. We'll just have to be settled first, It's hard being pregnant when you are living on other people's homes, You don't want them to be burdened by you especially when you have your pains (ouch). I promised hubby as long as I'm slim and healthy I can be pregnant. A lot of people kept on telling me why wait later when you can get pregnant right now, then lose the weight later. I'm like helloooo.... I don't want to add any more weight. I am heavy as it is and I don't want to risk my pregnancies for being too overweight, It's better to be safe than sorry.

Anyhoo, I'm so excited to tell you guys that I finally can fit into my size L shirts! yayy! I remember back in October my hubby's cousin gave me a size L shirt but it didn't fit me! I swear I couldn't breathe and I had a hard time taking it off, too. Then we went to the Nike factory outlet in Las americas, We bought 2 shirts there that was on sale, one XL and one L. Boy, I was dismayed to find out that the size L didn't fit me at all. It was a waste because I couldn't take it back anymore due to the fact that I ripped the tag off. Just great. One night, I took the one of the size L shirts and tried it to see if there was any change at all and I was amazed how it fitted me so well! I felt like the heavens opened up and the angels started singing. yes, I was that surprised. You may not notice it yet but my waist kinda trimmed down, and when I wore my skinny jeans yesterday I finally realized I needed to wear a belt now. amazing.

So if you are losing hope on losing weight, Please hang on as much as you can. We just need that little bit of motivation from friends and family, and keep on telling yourself that YOU CAN DO IT! Don't let people judge you and always be positive in life. So say it with me - We can do this!

under construction

No, no - not this blog! It's a little pixel shop where you can purchase customized pixels and download some link ware as well. It has been long overdue, I was suppose to launch it last year but things kinda went overboard with our moving and stuff so now I finally got to tinker with it again. Hopefully I can open it up this year. I have a lot in my to-do list right now. So much to do, yet so little time. I love pixels very much and I know I had to make a little site dedicated to the little cuties I had made.

burning fat

Hubby made me do some sit ups awhile ago. Since I didn't go to the gym today he insists I do it, so he helped me do it. Boy, did my stomach muscles hurt! He wants me to do at least 10 to 20 sit ups every day after our Gym sessions. It was a great feeling though, I felt like I melted some fat around me. Speaking of fat, Please visit www.burningbellyfat.org. It's a site that's very helpful for people out there who are on the lookout for great effective products with reviews that can help you choose which one that works for you. If I wasn't working out I would totally get one of the products featured in that site, but for now I'll settle this on my own. If you want to try it, by all means, Go check it out yourself. happy reading!

seeing doubles

Me and the hubs are into watching The CW's The vampire diaries. We are lovin' it! I don't care what you say. What caught my eye is this one scene that resembles so much like Edward Cullen who was wearing a light blue shirt in the movie Twilight. really funny! I couldn't help myself to take a snapshot while I was watching one of the episodes. Please excuse me... LOL

hating eczema

Ever since my son was a baby we noticed he had flaky skin from time to time. His legs and face were terrible! The doctor told us he has a bit of eczema. I felt so bad for him. Glad My mother-in-law was very patient with our son by soaking cotton balls with water and just putting on unscented lotion on his body a few times a day. It's really great for his skin. But now that he's 6 years old, Once in awhile his eczema would appear again. But I am so glad It's just mild, you wouldn't know he has eczema until you touch his skin. I just wish I could find a great eczema treatment for my son's skin. I guess I'll just go on over eczematreatment.org see what they have in store for me.

troubles?

Boy, nowadays It's hard to know what products fit best for you. I myself love reading product reviews from all over the internet. Plus reviews from Customers themselves. Now, I've never really mentioned any product here that's best for couples out there, I think this is going to be my first time. It's called zencore. Now, this product is reported to contain popular extracts, like Epimedium and Yohimbe Extract. A lot of people say this product is really effective, I don't know about you but maybe you can check it out yourself and do a lot of reading regarding this Product. If you know you and your mate are having problems, maybe This is a solution for you.

great times

I miss my gal pals at my former workplace back in Pearl Harbor Commissary in Hawaii. I am very privileged to have met this kind ladies, They have shown me love and respect and I truly treasure them for that. I don't see them anymore but thanks to facebook I am very glad I am still communicating with them right now, at least I know what is up with them nowadays.

In training

Hubby went to the Gym today without me. I had a slight headache awhile ago, I guess it must be from the rain. Yes, It is rainy and Windy for the past few days here in San Diego. In spite of that, Kids still had to go to school. We were out the whole day with my sister-in-law, had a great time shopping. After dropping off the kids this morning we drove to Mission Valley and were hunting for some sales and ideas for my Niece's events that are coming up in a few months. Anyway, hubby is enjoying his time working out and so far he has lost a few pounds in the past week. He's planning into getting in the Army this year. I've never seen my husband so dedicated into losing weight, I told him to drink some protein shakes and maybe even try a workout supplement called no xplode. I guess he wants to reach his goal in a natural way. But how about you? Maybe you would like to try this especially if you are working out, It just might help you today.

ouch!

I am having a headache right now. I'm trying my best to finish my online tasks as soon as possible. My brain is starting to shut down on me, It's about 11:43 pm and I need to sleep now because It's back to school again tomorrow. Need to drop off the kids to school and do a little shopping with the hubby since I will be off from work. I dislike split days off but at the same time I like it because at least I have some rest in between work days, you know. My eyes are tired from work and the GYM, I need to get some rest now before this headache continues on to become a major one. goodnight, peeps! ;-)

Ok, we're not getting off the losing weight topic just yet. Have you ever wondered why you are not losing weight that fast? Some say it's because of our colon. A new diet pill in town

A few years ago, that was around 2004 I tried A well advertised diet pill while working out at the gym at the same time. I did lose a few pounds, but It was terrible because It wasn't working out for me. I stopped using it because of some side effects that I've experienced with it. But it does work out for some people, I just realized it wasn't for me. I should have stayed with proper diet and exercise. Drinking the pill alone won't get any great results. We are all different and we need to understand how each product works. There's a lot of diet products out there, Like this adipex diet pill. Before you try anything, make sure to read reviews about it and consult your doctor if it is alright for you to take it. There's always a risk trying out a new product out there so just be careful and take it easy, don't be in a hurry.

working out

As you all know I've been working out at the gym since October 1st, and I have lost a total of 25 lbs! You can't really see any difference when you see my pictures because I'm still not below 200 lbs. yes, you got that right - I am that heavy! I'm pretty upset at myself for gaining all that weight. Pretty stupid of me. :( at 5'6 you can't really tell.

I forgot to tell you that hubby has also enrolled himself at 24 hour fitness, woot! Since he has lost about 40 lbs he still needs to lose about 30 more before meeting the Army recruiter. I just hope we can do this, we go to the gym almost everyday. I've never seen my husband so dedicated in losing weight. We're both motivated if we both workout at the same time, It's pretty awesome. I already left LA fitness and transferred to 24 hour fitness, They have a pretty good deal if you ask me, plus their place is just walking distance from our home. So yeah, If I leave the 200 spot you'll notice a bigger difference. Right now, I feel lighter, my pants are getting looser, my rings fit me well (no more resizing) and My skin as well as my whole body feels healthier than before. I'm giving myself about a year to reach my goal. SO wish us luck!

a scrappy moment

It has been awhile since I posted some of my scrap works here. I have been updating my facebook photo albums since my flickr account pro has already been expired. I have no intentions of renewing it, It's a waste of money (although, some of you will disagree with me) I understand if you have an SLR camera then you can showcase beautiful pictures to the world. I don't have any those. I also felt guilty for not updating my flickr for a pretty long time. Now, It's goodbye flickr pro. tsk.

I love theme parks!

After visiting Disneyland in Anaheim, California for about 3 times now, We are so ready to visit the Disney world in Orlando, Florida. I really want to visit that place, there's just a lot to see over there. For now, we can't really afford it yet, and I know it won't be too soon either. bummer. For now, we'll just keep on visiting the theme parks here in California. If you do visit Orlando, they have some specials going on at bookit.com for some orlando condos that you may be interested in. Anyways, We spent Our New year's day at Universal Studios and we enjoyed it to the max! I was so happy, because the last time we went there was around March 2004 and It was only me and hubby with my SIL and her family. Poor Nate was in the Philippines at that time, very sad. Nathan experienced Universal back in December 2009 when they visited my SIL for Christmas. They bought the tickets for the regular price and got 2010 for free, awesome! Now we can always go there whenever we want, I really enjoyed it. :)

furniture galore

The rain was terrible today! Yesterday the sky was already gloomy and it began to rain while we were at the gym last night. I love the rain, It just makes me so comfy at the same time inspirational. Anyways, a few days ago we went house hunting for my Sister-in-law. We went to an open house with a 3 bedroom, 2 and a half bath, very very nice if you ask me but It's quite small for my SIL, she has a lot of stuff and I don't think It will pass her criteria. A three bedroom home would be good for us, the third bedroom will be perfect for our own entertainment room where all our junk would be. we'll probably even have our very own home office, that reminds me I'll be checking out some office furniture when we'll have a chance someday. Ofconcepts.com has some great selections for you to choose for your very home, so come on and check it out!

READ THIS, PEOPLE!

OMG, I went to my mom yesterday and she had lost a lot of money on her bank account, she had her suspicions but she didn't want to prosecute. But I think It's because of those 'skimming' scams that has been happening. Take a look at this: 'Skimming' scams

That's why my mom has learned her lesson, too. :( She was pretty upset...

smokey

Did you ever try to smoke a cigar? I know what it smells like since most of the elderly people smoke it. To tell you the truth I'm not really a fan of anything cigarettes. I remember back in the Naval housing, when I still lived with my sister-in-law, every evening when I came out to the garage, the heavy scent of a cigar would come right at me. Well, if you take a look at this shop called famous-smoke.com They have all sorts of premium cigars at Discounted prices. You might find some for yourself if you are a smoker yourself.

happy 2010!!!

In just 4 hours we'll be celebrating 2010. In just a few minutes we're on our way to my hubby's cousin's place, we decided to spend our New year's eve there. Tomorrow we'll be at Universal Studios, hubby and my SIL got us all yearly passes! (woo-hoo!)

I am thankful for a lot of stuff this year... Thank you, God...

Hope everyone will have a safe and prosperous new year. Peace, Love and happiness to all! cheers!

Justice served

I am so glad our rear bumper has been finally fixed. Thank God for that, because It wasn't really our fault. A few days after the accident, We saw our neighbor's car - and his rear bumper all fixed. He knew that it was indeed his fault, because In my opinion if it wasn't my fault I would wait until the investigation was over so I can claim the insurance on what needs to be done, I am not paying out of the pocket to fix my damages. It took them long enough though, It wasn't hard to see that It was the old man's fault, he wasn't looking on his right side when he was backing up. At least, justice was served (LOL) Our Insurance did a great job. Speaking of insurance, I need to head on over to wholesaleinsurance.net to get some life insurance quotes, I might find something good so I can tell hubby about it.

christmas decors

SIL had already decided for the color theme of her tree next year: Blue and White. That would be fabulous, don't you think? If we had our own home to decorate It, this is what my home would look like.

- I'd like to have a tall Christmas tree with all the ornaments you can think of, store bought and home made in the living room area with a Christmas skirt and presents all around. :)

- There would be a basket sitting in the living room table filled with Christmas cards that We've received from everyone. Cinnamon sticks wrapped in silver ribbon and balls would fill the air with that Christmassy feel.

- In the fireplace, if there's one - on top would be a Christmas garland, pine cones, white candles, Christmas balls, holly berries, and the monogrammed Christmas stockings.

- We would have a snowman and Santa stuffed toys close to the tree.

- Christmas towels in the kitchen and some red candles with some holly berries in the dining area on a Christmas table runner.
- Some clear Christmas lights outside the porch.

- A christmas wreath with red ribbons and holly berries hanging in front the door.

- If we have a two storey home, I'd like to have some Christmas garland wreath lined up on the stairs with Christmas balls and Red ribbons.

I think that's about it. I don't really like lining up the house with Christmas lights, because I don't want to end up with a huge electric bill, that's for sure.

When we visited my hubby's cousin last week I fell in love with their home because of how it was decorated. Upon our arrival, we noticed some lighted candy canes on the bushes. When we walked up to their front door, there were 3 white candles sitting on sprigs of evergreen were flickering in front of the window. And There were 2 miniature Christmas trees sitting by the door, one on each side, wrapped with clear christmas lights.

Their living room had a huge fresh tree adorned with elegant ornaments. There were monogrammed Christmas stockings in the fireplace, clear Christmas lights were wrapped around the fireplace and A tall clear glass was filled with gold Christmas balls. (sigh) I can't wait to have our own home where I can decorate it the way I want it to be. Now that Christmas is over, It's almost time for the new year!

so sicky

For the past few days ever since my cold started when we were in Disneyland my whole family got sick, too. My little boy woke up with a fever, so we gave him a sponge bath and kept on giving him Tylenol. So far he's OK now after taking a nap this afternoon, thank God. It's hard getting sick nowadays. I'm just glad we had our flu shots done we don't have to worry about anything. I guess it's my fault, even If I had the cold I had to go along the Grizzly river run at California Adventure. We were soaking wet after that ride. I was in my worse state when we were in line at Toy Story Midway Mania (I enjoyed that one!) I was miserable because I wasn't feeling well so we went home at 4:30. I couldn't stand the whole trip because of my watery eyes and clogged up nose. Well, I need to finish up a few things online but I need to read more information about the Medicare supplement at Gomedigap.com I might refer some people someday, It will be sure useful.
