OH MY GOODNESS!!! part 2

If you were a long time follower of my blog, You probably know about THIS post of mine way back then. Today, after arriving from LA, Hubby told me about the news he received. We are so upset about this situation. I can't believe when they found that van that day they didn't even bother fixing it - after all, we did give them the confirmation that we are not responsible anymore for the said vehicle since we traded it in at the dealership around march 7, 2007. It's just plain ridiculous, now after almost 3 years we receive a news that we are being sued? That's plain wrong. My hubby contacted them and they informed him to write a check for a payment for some kind of cancellation fee and write a letter of explanation plus documents for proof that we are telling the truth, That we did trade it in 2 weeks back. When we found out about that, Hubby wanted to sue badly, but since we are very GOOD people, We decided to just forget about it and move on.

At first I was like, maybe she IS faking it? but then there were other cases as well years ago due to accidents, It's called Foreign accent syndrome... I didn't really know such a thing existed. amazing speaking languages you just don't know. babbling foreign words to people that couldn't even understand you. It really creeps me out in away, though. imagine listening to your old voice and language just weakens you from the thought that you might never ever gain it back again. so weird.

wedding nightmare

My father-in-law forwarded an email from a family friend who just got married around May 10 in Subic. a hoax or not, be warned that we must be careful always whenever we book at hotels, we must make sure to read reviews and ratings for the best service we can get. I have never seen this hotel before, but I knew it was still under construction when I was still there years ago. It's a pretty nice hotel based from pictures of friends who went there for vacations. but this email really bothered me... I'm not discouraging you to stay at this Hotel but just be extra careful, it can also happen at any HOTEL out there, shame on the security staff they had for it weren't for their carelessness this would've had happened. how sad it is for these newlyweds...

Subic is a great place, I actually grew up there so I am still inviting everybody to visit Olongapo City, Subic bay (my hometown). My dad who was a retired Navy always took us to inside base where we visit ships and carriers and meet family friends who were still in the Navy. I miss that place though... wish I can go back. I'll continue blogging on memory lane maybe later... so stay tuned! me and mom are gonna drive around town using THE BUS.

california wildfires

I feel terribly sorry for the people who lost all their homes in the California wildfire. One of my hubby's aunt called us just a few minutes ago and told us about the horrifying story about the fire that damaged a lot of homes you can read the story here...

I called all our relatives who lived in San Diego and thank God they live far away from it and so far there is no news yet on when they are going to evacuate, I am just praying hard they won't have to, dear Lord please help the people who lost their homes...

Scary, isn't it? that's the only downside of Nature right there, I can't imagine how strong winds can create some damage like this.
