oh, happy day

hello, my friends! how are you all doing? well for us here we're doing good so far, thank God! been busy with offline life as usual, we've been taking care of Nathan's school registration, I am just hoping that they grant our geographic exception coz we really want our son to go Aliamanu elementary instead the one on our district which is a bit further (crosses fingers). today's our 6th year anniversary! yay! the very first day we were officially together. It's about 1:00 am and in just a few minutes I'll be off to bed. gosh, I miss blogging like every day, you know. and I miss my online friends, too... hello guys.. yoohoo! I do know who drops by based on my bloglog, huge thank youuuuuu to all of you who makes my day complete, you guys know who you are (winks).

first off the list...A NEW HAIRCUT! after almost 2 years... at last!

You can't imagine how lighter my hair is now. it feels so good! a lot of people like my hair longer but what can I do? I have to cut it to lessen up the hair loss, plus it takes a lot of my time getting ready for work. my hair easily grows long so I don't have any problems with that. It was so funny coz the stylist asked me a few times if I wanted to cut it or save it. =D nope, get rid of it!

scrappy day

anyways, hope you guys had a terrific valentines day, I know I did =D. we had to visit my brother at the hospital yesterday, yes he had surgery, they had to remove his colostomy bag after a year, thank God but when we went there he didn't move or budge at all when we were trying to call his name, you think he was in a coma! the nurse tried waking him up, too and she got so scared by the look of her face, when he woke up he couldn't answer us at all it was a few minutes before he got around.



after that, drove home bought some pizzas at papa John's then just spent some time with the family. Valentine's isn't just giving material things and giving some heartmelting sentimental valentiney stuff.. for me, it's more on being together, happy and fulfilled. My hubby even asked for forgiveness for he didn't buy me any roses or whatever for valentines, I told him it was ok, It really doesn't matter anyway, roses are lovely but wither later on, chocolates can be so good but can add some more to my pounds. so, hugs and kisses are great! and they are free of charge.

Hello, beloved friends! how are you all doing? It's been a long time since I've talked to you guys, it seems like everybody's busy... or is it just me? I had a great heart to heart talk from someone very special and It was really worth the time talking to her, I have a lot of things to spill out on this blog but yet I couldn't dare do it, I don't like having a private blog and will never have one ever. by the way for those who are looking for my dollie blog I am no longer having one, simple reasons that I cannot cope up with multiple blogs and besides nobody really visits it so I don't see why I have to have one, right? so anyways, one more thing yesterday we went to Aliamanu elementary school but told us that their school wasn't our district, we were so sad coz we wanted Nathan to go to school there so they told us to fill out a geographic exception form as well as the other school registration forms, I am so happy within a few months Nathan will be in school!! so this is the feeling of a mom, It's a feeling of excitement and plain happiness inside, I can't really describe what I feel right now for my lil boy... time sure flies by so fast... I can't wait!! that's why I have no time anymore to go online, you know.. little by little my interest in blogging has been drying out, I don't know if I'll ever continue anymore.. I promised myself I'll be online for more years to come, but I guess I'll just settle for this blog. I won't be as active as I used to. I still wanna keep in touch with my mommy friends since they are the majority who comments on my posts, as well as my other online sisters who kept in touch with me after all these years... thank you!

On my way home last night I had a few chocolate cupcakes in hand but then I guess it turned on it's side so the cupcakes so-cute appearance suddenly turned messy, darn it!

We were craving for some ribs so We bought some pork spare ribs at Don Quijote and decided to have ribs for dinner, we used that sauce my SIL taught me combination of Ketchup, brown sugar and Aloha Shoyu Soysauce with a bit of pepper, cooked it in the oven since we don't have an outdoor grill (bummer) and it's just delish, mmm-mmm... want some? come on over!

I don't think I will ever forget my filipino roots. My mom has done a great job in teaching me the true filipino values and I thank her for that. I will be teaching my son the same way even if he grows up here in the states.
