I knew they'd win, Their moves are pretty good. I love watching dance competitions ever since I can remember. When I'm by myself in our room I usually dance, It's like an exercise for me, you get to move most of your body parts, and I really love it. If only hubby can dance with me...

As I mentioned in my previous post, I love watching Jon and Kate plus 8 on TLC, too bad I can't really see their show anymore. I miss that show! After their wedding Kate wanted to have a baby right away she was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) she needed help to get pregnant. So after checking in with a fertility doctor they had a set of twins, not long after she wanted another one, and yes she had a tough time but will you look at that.. instead of giving her one more, God gave her 6 more! incredible. They were offered to have a show on TLC, and some other guestings on tv. that helped them a lot for their family expenses. Jon works full time while Kate quits her Nursing Job to be a fulltime mommy, which she says it's ok coz with Nursing profession you can always go back whenever you want.

See, God works in mysterious ways. I'm watching this family reality show on tv, She's a mom of a set of twins and sixtuplets, can you just imagine that, huh? My brother just informed us that his cancer came back again. this time it's the 3rd bump! The one from his shoulder vanished then it sprouted once again in his back shoulder. (gasp) When is this going to stop? I feel so sorry for my bro, if only he can stop the sickness this minute.. but that's life. we're just praying and praying not losing hope now.

Speaking of sickness, I want to express my sympathy to my co worker's brother who died from Leukemia. She went to San Fancisco to undergo a bone marrow transplant for her brother since she was the closest match to him. after a few weeks we asked how her bro was doing, she said he was fine, but yesterday we found out that he passed away. it gives me the chills just thinking about it.

Life is indeed short, so we have to make the most of it by showing our love to our loved ones before it's too late. Now It reminds me of that song from the Moffatts.

what's to be thankful for?

A lot of things, that's for sure. happy Tuesday

Yay, it's blogging time once again. how's everyone doing? for us here we're doin' fine, it's just one heck of a day, if you ask me. seriously now, It was a great day for us since I was off, can you believe this is my only day off after working 7 days straight? yeah. bummer. I'm off to work again tomorrow, blehh.. but I only work 12 to 6:30 since the store is doing inventory, so yay for that.

all we did today was watch Smallville, yes oh yes we're Smallville fanatics hubby finally completed his Smallville dvd collection, I can't believe that the season 6 costs around $54, but that's ok, it was worth it anyway. glad Walmart had the rest of the seasons for $19.99 each, isn't that great?? love it! I know some of you don't like smallville, but what can we do, right? Everybody has their own taste of tv shows. It's just so fun to watch, the whole family's hooked on it! Can't wait for season 7 dvd to come out since we don't have CW on tv.

Notice our skin being tan? We visited Hawaiian waters last April 7 and it was so much fun, I tell ya! after that day my body just ached so bad, but I loved it so much. When they left a few days later I dropped about 5 lbs. not bad, I didn't need to starve myself. notice me being so chubby in the pics? terrible! (sniff) so far I dropped a total of 13 lbs. wish me luck that I can lose more. =D yesterday while shopping I was wearing a denim skirt my hubby noticed that I was kinda losing weight, I guess you can't really see it now since 13 lbs. is way too little.. but of course I'll just post a pic of a before and after pic when I lose a lot. (sighh)

and oh, I'd like to extend my congrats to Scart for giving birth to a healthy cute and adorable baby girl, here's to you (cheers) Welcome Freya Ysabel! and to Valerie for having another adorable niece in her family. =D but wait, Monica also just gave birth to a healthy baby girl, Mikaela! welcome to the world, babies!

acne misery

I experienced severe acne when I was around 12 I think, it was just one morning when I realized my forehead were full of those lil red bumps, kinda like a rash. so terrified because I didn't know what to do, scared to know that one day I'll end up having terrible skin, I tried washing my face everyday, but nothing seems to be working. but according to my mom it's part of growing up. I then realized when I was 14 it stopped, and I had clear skin again. That was terrible though. Up to now I get acne once in awhile, I have very oily skin and I hate it when I have to deal with it. That's why I'm careful on what I put on my skin, and I'm thankful after all these years after all the creams I've bought nothing really compares to the products I use now. But sometimes in order for me to stop complaining about acne I have to think about the people who has worse skin problems than mine. I'm ba-ack!

hello, friends! It's been a long time since I've had my last post. I missed blogging very much. Well, my SIL and the kids just left yesterday morning and we couldn't really get over it that they're back in Korea now. They'll be leaving Seoul I think around June or July to move to San Diego. We really miss them so much. They arrived around April 3rd, and I'm telling you it was shopping galore for them. We had such a great time wishing they would just stay with us.

I felt really bad for my son coz when they left I could really see the sadness in his eyes, I had to drop them off at the airport, I myself felt so emotional when I hugged the kids and my SIL. I treat my SIl like my very own sister, I never had an elder sister before so everytime they left we would be very sad. my son had a great time playing with his cousins, they would joke around with a lot of stuff, play games, go on the computer, they would fight a lil bit but then would play again later. my mom and my brother are very fond of the kids coz they love games very much and they are great comedians, too. Minute after minute is like happy time, you know, they often joke around, that's why I love them very much, so is my SIL, when you get together she will seriously kill you with her jokes. speaking of my SIL she's finally hooked into blogging, pls visit her @ http://readmyblog-2good2btrue.blogspot.com

My SIL and the kids are coming! how exciting this is! the last time they were here was around 2006, we surely miss them so much. Let's face it, Grandfather clocks can have this mysterious image no matter how beautiful it is! When I was a kid I was always afraid of certain clocks like that because first of all it was always used in scary movies like when the clock hits 12 midnight that's when strange things happen. When you start to hear that gong sound, it's so eerie when you think about it. When I visit family friends homes I see they have a lot of different kinds of Wall clocks, they are just too simple and classy for me, I really love it. for me, I think a home is not complete without a grandfather clock. It may be a little bit big, but it just gives that classy look of a home, and I love my home to be bit classic and modern at the same time. pretty nails

While cleaning our storage I found that cherry blossom designed nails I bought a few years ago, (gasp) I thought I got rid of it already.. I guess not. I just had to try it on for the last time.



I've never used it, not even once until this time I decided to try it on. since I move my hands a lot at work it'll be useless coz it will just break, chip and whatnot. how I love to have gorgeous nails like this all the time, but my nails are very hard to work with, when they get long they break easily, they're very soft so it's not very good to have long nails. back in High school me and my friends would paint our nails together before going out at night for a get together with the rest of the group. the only design I really like is the simple one, like the french tip nails. my mom always tells me to rub garlic on my nails to harden it a bit, or tap your nails on a hard surface like wood to strengthen it. it works though. the only problem why I stopped growing my nails is because of my son. I usually scratch him by accident, I'm also scared that I might sometimes poke his eyes (I poke my eyes all the time) even with hubby, too he was so irritated of me having long nails, so I decided to cut it. Now I'm carefree again. maybe someday when my kids are big I can finally grow my nails again. so I gave the nails to my mom, she really loved it I doubt she's going to use it.
