One tooth down!

So, Nate lost his tooth last friday (02-26-10). That day was also his dental appointment. Since he has One tooth growing in the back on one of his lower front teeth They have to take out two! So we found out that we're supposed to pay $282 for Monday's estimated co-payment. But lo and behold, A few minutes later She told us that If we can accept the Monday appointment Since somebody cancelled, She can Waive the $175. God is so great! What a blessing! Thank you, God!

It costs about $39 per tooth, It's Minus one so It's all good! We were so happy because our payment was cut in half, yaaayyy!

I really believe in good karma. When you love one another and do good things to others It always comes back to you. :)

Happiest place on earth

Yay! we'll be seeing the whole gang by October! me and the fam are soooo excited. It's been 5 years since we've visited Disneyland as well as Universal and Sea world. As I was throwing out some stuff from the storage boxes I found these maps and some Disney napkins, too. goodness, I really miss Disneyland. :) My little one is quite happy, too always asking us 'Are we going to the mainland now?'. (LOL) Sooo cute! When he was 2 years old my sister-in-law and her whole family brought Nate to Disneyland Tokyo, soooo I'm not sure if he remembers it at all unlike now, we're complete and he's 6 plus he passes some of the height limit for certain rides, too.

Well, I decided to go for a new look and make things much much organized and easier... I finally switched to blogger's XML templates (goodbye classic). It's kinda hard tweaking it but I am enjoying my simple blogy blix theme. I still have to add a lot of sidebar contents and just in case you don't see your link there - please understand that I am still currently fixing my links, I am in the process of deleting broken links as well. so yeah...

I'm on 2 weeks leave, yayy! I am so happy coz I get to blog again, of course. finish some lil projects I need to do like the scrap page I am giving away for a co-worker/friend that is leaving for the Philippines around the 27th of July. and I'm currently making scrap pages for my supervisor's new office wall, she told me it was soooo bare! I'm truly honored, I may say. The little one's summer school ended today but I didn't make him go to school anymore due to his coughing. he had a fever the other day and yesterday he was fine since he went to school but now he is coughing really bad. All you can smell here in the house is Tylenol grape flavor and Vicks. poor guy... anyway, as I was saying, summer school has ended and now I have plenty of time to do the things I needed to do like organize the closets and the pantry and throw away or donate the things we really don't need around here. general cleaning, of course! and make time for the GYM, I am soooo happy coz after going back to the gym for 2 days I've seen results from my pants, can you believe that? I really need to stick to it, besides I don't have to pay for it like I used to back in 24hr fitness in 2004, It's one of the greatest benefits of working for the federal. I also need to finish my brother Gully's memorial website before Aug. 17, 2009 to mark his 1st death anniversary. I am also planning to revamp (how many times do I have to say this?) my This and that blog, I still wanna keep that and no plans of deleting it. hmmm... what else? I think that's it. I'll keep you guys posted... to my visitors who still come here and visit, I LOVE YOU, GUYS!!! Godspeed.

crazy for twilight

The title says it all. I just bought the book Twilight around Nov. 20th before the premier of the movie and eversince I started reading it, I got so hooked my nose was completely glued to it when I had the chance. Well, last night (hahaaa) I slept almost 5 am, my husband was awake the entire time coz he couldn't sleep at all and he saw me still reading in bed, he just shook his head and kept on telling me to get some sleep. I fell so madly in love with the story, the way they pictured Edward was really something else, a dangerous yet beautiful "adonis-like" vampire with eyes that can dazzle you when he spoke. golly! When I read a book I just fall inside my own lil world and picture the actors who are gonna play the parts in the book. but since The motion picture was out anyway the selected cast was already inside my head, every scene in the chapter just made me want to see the movie so bad to see how it is. A lot of critics gave the movie a bad review, and a lot of people expected the movie to be a lot like the book, but hey-that can't ever happen, it's only based on the book. :)

so anyways, up to now I am sooooo deeply in love with the story, I heard most of my co-workers went to see it yesterday (boo me) and they told me I had to go and see it for myself since it was such a spectacular movie! I am so jealous. It's really funny how some of the fans of Rob Pattinson were angry coz they only wanted him to be Cedric Diggory and not the gorgeous vampiric Edward Cullen. I think they selected a great cast, they all look so attractive, so fit to be vampires =D especially Rob, they made a great choice by choosing him, and as for Bella, well she was great too I think the way she was portrayed in the book was kinda pale so she was right for the part. Everytime I hold the book it seems like I don't ever wanna stop, you know the feeling, right? Oh, I can't wait to finish the book before I see the movie. I am also planning to buy the whole Twilight saga, darn you Edward Cullen, you're the one keeping me busy away from the Net!

hahaa, anyways I had such a tough week, I closed all night at work, so hectic... that explains why I am not twitting constantly. my day off would be Thanksgiving day and the day after which means... I can go shopping!! weeee! and for my dear friends and visitors, I miss you all sorry I can't visit your blogs yet, a working mommy is so hard, wish I could be Wonder woman anyday. ciao peeps!

halski just bought me an Iphone 3g! yipeee, I am so happy! that was around the 28th, and I am so lovin' my new phone, I've never been this attached to a phone since high school =D. Hubby blocked his sim card by accident testing his boss' blackberry, I think, I don't know what that boy did. His boss went with us because he also bought an iphone on that same place. and we switched to At&t because we weren't satisfied with T-mobile anymore =/. years of service, finally a new one! a new start once again. I was supposed to get a blackberry, too but he opted to get an iphone for me, oops I didn't force him to buy me one hehee =P. So he got himself a blackberry curve, it was a great deal coz it had a rebate of full price so actually the phone was free, not bad at all, huh.



I'm also back in Twitterland! feel free to follow me =) HERE. It feels so good to have internet with you wherever you go, now I can blog and check my emails away from home, not to mention visit my fave blogs on the run. my SIL told me the Iphone has some negative issues, I think I know what it is already, but that's ok, I still love it =D.

(sigh) today I was by myself, hubby's at work while Nate was in school. I cried again while huggin my brother's urn. I still can't believe that's him inside... painful talaga, wish I can get over this feeling. I so miss him so much....

My, my it's been a week, huh? Where did the time go? how time sure flies by so fast when you're havin' fun. I'm still here, people. please bear with me as I visit all your blogs one by one. I really appreciate all the daily visits you guys give. It's been a hectic week. I'm finishing a lil project of mine here, so crosses fingers hopefully it will be done by the next week or so. I shopped for Nathan's school stuff last night and got it all on sale at Walmart and Kmart. I am so excited for my lil pumpkin to go to school, the emotions I feel right now are overwhelming, I tell ya. there's a lil bit of bad news though, Aliamanu elementary declined our Geographic exception application, so he will be entering his home school which is Salt lake elementary. Well, its not bad at all, it's pretty nice over there I may say, the school close to the mountains so they have a pretty good breeze coming down on their school. I just wish all will be well with Nathan's first day of school. I'll blog again tomorrow... OH, SANTA BABY!

I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING...

Weeeeeeee I am sooooo happyyyy!! I got my present from santa, and I am very happy and contented about it. My hubbykins called me at work yesterday and was asking me my favorite IPOD color, and I told him anything would be nice but he shouldn't buy me anything yet coz I am still thinking about it... So he called me again a few minutes later then tells me to forget about it, he'll buy it next time. Well, I wasn't disappointed or anything, I was just happy that he didn't buy it. but when I came home around 11:00 last night, right there sitting on my laptop is my new silver IPOD NANO! with a lil post it note on top of it, how sweet.. he was already asleep then... I also cried when he woke up and told me how he loves me so much and how I deserve to have all the happiness in the world. A thank you christmas gift for taking care of him and our son. aww..


Yep, something to motivate me to work out (lol) I have to start walking again from work as soon as this rainy weather goes away that's for sure. he made a good choice buying this one instead of the touch, this was the one I always wanted. I really didn't care much for the touch, this one is much cuter... I love you, sweetie...

I miss blogging!

It felt like I didn't update for ages, and oh my I just cleaned up a lot of cobwebs here in my blog, so yeah, I just created a christmas header in a matter of hours, I was so tired, after watching smallville season 5 (yep, I went back) around 2:00 am I had to wake up at 5:30 dropped ny husband at the airport, took our van to cutter dodge at Pearl City for it's 6,000 miles check up, and boy it rained all day =D it was hot though, called my dear friend Berlin and we chatted for a little bit coz seriously I was sooo bored, luckily while waiting and chatting with Lin on the phone something brushed at my feet and what do you know, a Himalayan cat! soooooo cute! he reminds me of that cat who played mr. Jinx of meet the parents, It was just adoooorable! It was purring loudly and I gave him a great belly rub, gosh I miss having cats so much, too bad I left my digital camera at home, all I did was took its pictures from my razr phone, I really wanted to show you guys but oh well, maybe next time. =) so yeah, I was driving in the freeway and I just hate it when it's zero visibility, It's so hard to see in the road when water splashes in your windshield and drivers don't give a damn putting on their lights, how stupid is that??? ok, please bear with me for I am catching up with my pending tasks, I wanna finish some for today so this blog will have paid posts here and there, updates in between. more coming ahead, let me just finish some of it...

I had a great time chatting with my bestfriend Joan last night. as you all know I had a post about my bestfriend somewhere in my archives and I was badly hurt when I thought our friendship was long gone.. I guess I was wrong after all. I told her how I felt and all that and I'm happy she's back in Korea, she finished a caregiver course back in the PI so I am happy she went back to her husband although they're not that sweet anymore, it's just for the sake of their child that's why they are still together. we had a great time chatting, she's still the friend I knew back in high school. I was relieved to know about her situation from a fellow friend who took up Nursing and they accidentally saw each other in one of the hospitals in San Marcelino. When I knew about that, I felt happy for her. I didn't believe in any accusations that I heard from other friends since they told me they weren't sure if the bad news were real or not. I kept on praying that she will take the right path, and dear God heard me... thank you, God!

I am soooo happyyy! I just read that ppp had increased the posts to 3 per day! that's soo nice. I logged in today and saw around 30+ available opportunities. but you know me, I don't like grabbing everything all at once, I just grab the easy ones the ones I can surely relate to. and besides, $5.00 for 300 words? A bump to remember + happy news

I was folding clothes when my mom screamed my name, I hurriedly went outside.. saw my son holding his forehead and crying a lil bit, he didn't want to cry (silly boy) he was keeping it all in... and guess what, he had a huge bump on his forehead! it was the biggest bump I've ever seen. according to him he was running out without looking along his path, he bumped his head from the edge of our bedroom door. scraed the crap outta me, I tell ya. kids really don't listen until they get hurt (lil boys nga naman) anyways, I am off today and I just want to scrap so bad! I have oodles of downloaded and purchased kits and embelishments that I'm really craving to use so bad. I'm off to visit work because we are having a potluck for my 2 dear future nurses who are leaving today, gotta get ready now...

In other news, great news that is... hubby asked me if I can get 3 days leave for december, we're going to San Diego!!! yayyy! Disneyland here we coooooome! It's been 3 years since we last went there and I am so excited to see Mickey and friends, this time Nathan's coming with us I am soo happy, I feel bad coz my brother and mom can't come because he has his radiation and chemotherapy still ongoing, poor guy. anyways there's always a time for everything, right? It's not yet official since I haven't talked to my boss yet. (fingers crossed) hope she approves it coz It's really gonna be worth it. sorry for being away for so long, my apologies. funny how when you're gone for a long time people can really forget about you. I feel neglected (kidding!) of course not. we all have our busy moments, I feel so uninspired, I need my blogbug (help!) hmm... I know everyody's busy... you guessed it right. I'm completely exhausted! but Nate's birthday was absolutely superb! be back tomorrow for pics and video-sharing. actually we were all tired, complete story will follow tomorrow night, and I have to say my week will be busy as heck! Aug. 20 was my only day off for Aug. 19-25, I'm only working part time but I feel like I am working full time, we have a lot of training to do this week regarding our new system at work, so I am sorry if I'm not be able to catch up with you lovelies, I promise though I'll be checkin' up on you... goodnight y'all!
