getting to know me

Once in awhile, I browse blogs and when I am interested in one blog I bookmark it and try to read more about the person behind the blog. I feel like I know the person when I read their profiles. When I like a certain blogger to be one of my online friends, I try my best to make friends with them, but often times I try not to because I am not that active in blogging anymore, or let me just say commenting and blog hopping as I used to.

I started blogging back in 2004, so if you're a friend of mine when I started on the net don't bother reading this anymore. For the newbies on my site, I know there are lots of readers out there who don't comment at all (It's ok) I want to say thank you for always being there, even though you guys are just lurking around my pages - THANK YOU! :)

If you want to know more about me, read on more about me HERE. For other stuff about me, just click the about me link page up there on the top.

I'm not that good of a writer, but I just love to document my life, even though it's boring to you... This is my journal, this is my life.

joint problems?

This is really hard to accept. Having joint problems is such a pain. I don't know how it feels just yet but I know later in life I will get to experience it. Almost All moms I know at work have joint problems, they complain almost every day and every minute. What's worse about it is, they stand up on their feet most of the day so It's kinda painful. I might just give them some tips about joint health supplements that can help them choose the right supplement for their joints. My mom also has the same thing so I might tell her all about it. When I ask them about it they will always tell me that it is painful, and because I am still young I will indeed experience this later on in life and I will know how hard it is to be old and having aching joints everywhere. Oh goodness!

The message

I was watching this new program at TLC last night called "The message". It was such a great program, I cried on every story that was featured - It was just heartwarming, the emotional bug just bit me right there and then. After watching it I felt good inside. Somehow the stories just left me inspired for whatever reason. I was glad hubby and Nate was fast asleep, they don't need to see me bawling under the sheets. This afternoon, after Church mass, me and the husband were talking about his goal in his life, like he wishes before he turns 40 his goal is to own a house by then. And he wishes to enjoy his life for 20 more years after that. I assured him he would live longer than that, who knows maybe he will live up to his 90's. I love my husband. Fate had drawn us closer in life. God made a way for us to be together. I hated him for talking like that. I kept on telling him, we would grow old together - in thick or thin, for richer or poorer. It's the truth though, You just never know nowadays, we gotta learn how to enjoy and live our lives to the fullest. We must also invest in Life insurance, we all need this just in case. Take a look at some life insurance rates over at wholesaleinsurance.net. Give yourself some time to think about it. Be wise and think about your family, don't let them down.

Universal studios trip Cancelled + a visit to my mom

We were supposed to go to Universal Studios today but something came up so we decided to cancel it. Instead, We are going to visit my mom today. Which we did of course. I love going to Universal Studios, So far I have been there twice now, first time was back in 2004. Since we bought the ticket around Dec. 2009 we get the whole 2010 free. Hubby is not much of a fan of Universal, he loves Disneyland better. :) I enjoy every part of Universal Studios. My favorites are the simpsons ride, the special effects, the tour around the studios riding the tram... Too bad King Kong wasn't open, but we decided to come back by Summer where he'll be back for sure!!!

I had a great time today. It's so worth it after all the stress at work I've been through, I needed a happy day.

stressed out

Well, For the past week I've been shifted to the cash cage and All I can say is... It's truly tiring. They have more paperwork than the previous place I've worked at in Hawaii. Every time I come home at night I can't help but cry sometimes. I cried out a bucket of tears while driving home last night. But I keep telling myself that I can do it. Nothing's going to keep me down. I work out like 3 days in a week that's why my weight loss is a bit slow. As soon as my training is over and I feel comfortable with my new work place, I will get back on track. I'm just maintaining my current weight, I'm usually asleep in the morning and I have night shifts all week. I don't have much energy so I sleep most of the time which give me the energy to work at night. I usually go home at 11:30 or 10:30 pm, and depends on how we work. I am stressed out! When will I continue losing weight? Sometimes I keep on thinking if I'll ever go back to diet pills or maybe try out some diet pills with ephedra, I don't know. All I care right now is to have more energy to withstand stress. Although the biggest stress reliever is exercise itself. I'll just try to find some good music to add to my blackberry playlist, I sure need that boost for my mood. Or maybe scrap some pages to release the tensions.

curing your cholesterol

A few months ago when my husband had his blood tested, He found out that his Cholesterol was high and he needs to bring it down. So far in a few months he needs to see his doctor again and have another blood test. See, It's very important to have a physical every year, So that we can have early detection of any kind of problems rather than waiting the last minute which is harder to cure. I'll see if I can find a best cholesterol medication for the husband. I am very worried yet I know he is doing a great job right now and eating the right kinds of foods. He goes to the gym and spends at least an hour on the treadmill and also uses the stationery bike and elliptical. Getting 20 – 30 minutes of aerobic exercise every day is sufficient to better balance your HDL and LDL cholesterol.

Last monday which is April 5th, I had a talk with my doctor regarding my blood tests. My good and bad cholesterol are so low, which is amazing according to the doctor. Everything is perfect... but I do have Anemia though. Anyways, I'll talk more about that the next time. I am just hoping my husband would have great results for his cholesterol the next time he gets his blood tested.

amazing video!

Has anyone watched this lip dub video yet? Or maybe you guys did - I was just too late! (LOL) I was at the gym today on the elliptical when Rachel Ray introduced the new viral video that created such a sensation on youtube around the world. If you haven't watched it, please go and watch it now - It's just too amazing for me. You never know how creativity can burst out on such brilliant minds. :)

Good Sam

My mom showed me her boyfriend's motorhome A few months ago when we visited their home, and It was massive! It's my first time seeing one, Since We have lived in Hawaii for 6 years and I don't think they have that on a tiny Island anyway. When we moved here in California, I was amazed how lots of homes owned their own RV's. I guess it's natural because you get to go on long driving along with your family. It must be pretty expensive, I don't think we can own one soon enough. yikes. Even my aunt's motorhome back in Kentucky, The last time I talked to her they were planning on selling it since my uncle is having health issues and I don't think they can have any trips for a long time. So sad... I was hoping they could visit us here someday. A mechanical breakdown insurance For those people who needs a good extended service plan for their vehicles, trailers or motorhomes, Good Sam is the way to go! Read more at their website and maybe you guys can even get a free quote.

think about switching

I think this was about last year when I first saw a cigarette pen displayed under the glass case from a drug store where I was shopping at. I am truly impressed with what they come up with nowadays. They have come a long way ever since cigarettes first started. My mom and dad did smoked cigarettes long time ago but had quit along the way without any problems like people usually do when they quit cold turkey. Me? I don't smoke, even the husband had quit a long time ago, and I'm glad I didn't. I found this e cigarette at premiumecigarette.com, It is very interesting you should check it out if you're a smoker yourself. I think this is a better alternative than the real thing that way you don't have to smell like smoke and you'll keep you pearly whites whiter than ever. ;)
