happy Tuesday

Yay, it's blogging time once again. how's everyone doing? for us here we're doin' fine, it's just one heck of a day, if you ask me. seriously now, It was a great day for us since I was off, can you believe this is my only day off after working 7 days straight? yeah. bummer. I'm off to work again tomorrow, blehh.. but I only work 12 to 6:30 since the store is doing inventory, so yay for that.

all we did today was watch Smallville, yes oh yes we're Smallville fanatics hubby finally completed his Smallville dvd collection, I can't believe that the season 6 costs around $54, but that's ok, it was worth it anyway. glad Walmart had the rest of the seasons for $19.99 each, isn't that great?? love it! I know some of you don't like smallville, but what can we do, right? Everybody has their own taste of tv shows. It's just so fun to watch, the whole family's hooked on it! Can't wait for season 7 dvd to come out since we don't have CW on tv.

Notice our skin being tan? We visited Hawaiian waters last April 7 and it was so much fun, I tell ya! after that day my body just ached so bad, but I loved it so much. When they left a few days later I dropped about 5 lbs. not bad, I didn't need to starve myself. notice me being so chubby in the pics? terrible! (sniff) so far I dropped a total of 13 lbs. wish me luck that I can lose more. =D yesterday while shopping I was wearing a denim skirt my hubby noticed that I was kinda losing weight, I guess you can't really see it now since 13 lbs. is way too little.. but of course I'll just post a pic of a before and after pic when I lose a lot. (sighh)

and oh, I'd like to extend my congrats to Scart for giving birth to a healthy cute and adorable baby girl, here's to you (cheers) Welcome Freya Ysabel! and to Valerie for having another adorable niece in her family. =D but wait, Monica also just gave birth to a healthy baby girl, Mikaela! welcome to the world, babies!

meet Athena

yep, that's my lil sister, Athena Antoinette. I think that was around last week when I found out from my brother she had a friendster account and myspace, I was like looking for her quite a long time now. I added her but I was afraid she wouldn't add me, as some of you know the last time I saw her was back in the Philippines around 2003 before we left for Hawaii. She was around 8 or 9 back then. When I saw her pics, my I was surprised how much she's grown! she's like 13 yrs old right now. We don't look alike, huh? at first you would think she's Chinese/Japanese or Korean but she's half white and half filipina like me. I was so glad she replied to my message, she uses a lot of happy faces, just like me. and guess what??? she loves HELLO KITTY, just like me! hehee, how great is that, huh? I wish she was close by me, I would really love to bond with her, she's very close to my brother I didn't get to know her better. but it's enough our communication is by these 2 networking sites, that's ok by me.


She sure is a fan of hello kitty, look at her bow hahaha except it's on the other side, how cute. Oh well, I'm off to get ready for work, lately I am sooooo bored with my online life, It's been a few days since I got on my laptop and do something productive, but I am being productive with my offline life that's for sure, so far I've lost 6 pounds in a week. in other updates I updated my multiply, just click on smy albums...

shrinking woman

I feel hungry yet I have the feeling of not wanting to eat. last night I was up watching tv, as I was flipping the channels I saw this documentary about an obese woman, they were performing a surgery on her, they were doing liposuction! then they were slicing up her flesh you can really see the fat under all those skin, I almost threw up right there and then. I am very squeamish, mind you.. if I see blood or any kind of slicing of flesh, I couldn't eat meat for days sometimes weeks. I avoid watching bloody scenes, that's the reason why I didn't take up nursing and I couldn't apply at Tripler Hospital just yet.. It's really scary how people can grow so big, well I am a big woman myself but to grow 300 to 700 pounds... I don't know, it's pretty scary.. I really felt bad for her when she woke up she was in terrible pain it's like ripping the skin away from your body, they removed 13 pounds of fat from her and I was just terrified when I saw them handling the flesh they just had cut from the woman. I remembered when I had my C-section it felt sooooo bad! what more removing a lot of flesh from your body? watching that made me more determined to watch what I eat and continue my healthy lifestyle. So far it's been a week all I'm eating is bananas, grapes, oranges, all kinds of fruits and veggies, no fried stuff, just a lil bit of rice, more on cereals and soymilk, lots of water, no coffee or chocolates or any kinds of sweets. I'm sure damn proud of myself. =D

I am very blessed to have these wonderful people as my friends, how can I say thank you? (cries) these came in the mail a few days ago, they both came in the same day, how great is that, huh? I was soooo happy and inspired! so let me plug these ladies before I go.

I weighed myself this morning, and I can't believe I lost 3 lbs in 2 days! yipeeeee! all we need is exercise, you DON'T have to starve yourself.
