watermelons + other stuff

Sack and Save had a great deal on their watermelons! 19 cents a lb! regular price is 59 cents a lb. see the difference? We don't really buy watermelons here because it's sooo darn expensive. I'm not sure how much a lb is it in the mainland? I bought one seedless and one regular. This was around the 4th of July, we miss eating watermelon! In other news, I finally got to update my This and that blog and my Shopping blog and I'm not even done yet especially with the links, if you're interested please leave a tag and I will link you as soon as possible when I have the time. I miss blogging so much, as well as my beloved online sisters... I'm spending a lot of time on flickr, facebook and twitter and I wasn't aware taht I've been neglecting my dear poor blogs! how awful of me... but I promise, I'll stick to it. :) thank you and God bless!

bye, iphone--hello blackberry! + meet my new love

Around September 20th, I was so happy with hubby because he bought me my very own Bamboo fun tablet! I am soooooo happy, you wouldn't even imagine =). We bought it at Circuit City, because Best buy didn't had any. It was around a few years ago I wanted so much to buy a wacom pen tablet, but back then that was around 2004 it comes in a huge packaging and I don't think that was any good at all, hubby still refused to buy me one back then. but I guess maybe because he saw my incentive award on my pay stub for this year, and he saw my performance rating, I was Outstanding! hubby was proud of me I guess. well, I worked hard for it... customer service is no joke, a lot of people hate my job especially when you deal with a lot of picky and whiney customers, if you're not used to a job like mine, you'll have white hair in no time =D.



I can't wait to make doodles and all kinds of stuff with it. Eversince we had our computer I stopped drawing on paper which I kinda miss, I usually draw cartoons, design clothes and just doodle away. I might make some digital scrap goodies, starting with doodles! There's still a lot that I need to do, I still have no time creating some but I promise later on I'll be offering freebies from time to time. I just love the tablet with it's wireless mouse I got rid of my belkin mouse, boy I really hated that mouse I had to chase it every now and then.. ugh. but anyways, I'm lovin' my pen tablet! thanks, hubbykins! I love youuuuu!!

In other news, I finally got my blackberry curve yesterday. I was so sad to get rid of my Iphone, but it had lots of problems, feel free to read HERE. I will surely miss it, but I am loving my new blackberry, it's so light weight! I wasn't happy with it's web browser so I downloaded and installed Opera mini on it, so far it's not bad at all. can you imagine that the 28th will be marked as 1 month since we bought my Iphone? I finally saw the negative stuff about it before the 28th, that was quick! good thing we had the time to exchange it for a different phone. Or else I might have been stuck with it. yikes!





ok, I finally made up another blog! this time, it's a shopping blog! anything shopping related (lol) I got hit by the blog bug. (u__u) oh, my with my hectic work, being a mom and wife and without my mom here with me, how the heck am I gonna do with 3 blogs?? I'm talking about my mineral powder. Eversince High school I've used different kinds of pressed powders and all those worked very little for me. And yes, I can't forget foundations, I was a foundation buff but little did I know that it's starting to irritate my skin, and it leaves your face with a cake like appearance, eww nasty. I don't like expensive make up either, there's just something with designer make ups, believe me I've tried and it's not skin friendly, for me that is.

Physician's formula is the one I'm currently using, it's the best Mineral face powder I've purchased in my entire life. I tried Neutrogena but it fades away so easily compared to the other one. mineral make up is such a hit today, it's good for your skin and it lasts longer, it feels so natural you feel like you're not wearing anything at all. If you haven't switched to mineral wear yet, I suggest you toss those incredibly harsh cosmetics now.

I decided to blog here often better than my multiply, It's so tiring having multiple blogs =) sooo, yeah you can always find my fresh posts here. ok, now for the 411. what happened to me by the way? hmm, been busy doing a lot of things but thank God everything is back to normal, and for our van, hubby's going to pick it up tomorrow at the shop, darn it I missed it so much! could you imagine that, after 2 days I already wrecked our baby (lol) anyways, I promised myself I'll take good care of it next time. coz seriously I'm a careful driver, it's just that the more I was more careful going down the ramp at the parking lot hospital suddenly a huge toyota tundra came up and a few other SUV's and I think I freaked out that's when I heard a loud BAM on my right side and the scraping sound was just sooo bad! I forgot to share the pics the last time.





I can't wait to get the van back, coz the toyota echo we have is just plain small! I hate it, you can't fit a lot of stuff in it. we went sight seeing yesterday, we went around the island, started around 9:00 am and about 2:00 pm we went to see Bridge to Terabithia, it was such a nice movie. very sad one.
