I love our planet very much and we could all help each other by doing our very best to support groups that can save our environment. It's never too late to save it. It's really incredible how today's people are being serious on taking care of our environment. One of these groups are johnson and johnson, and they are creating positive actions by supporting nongovernmental organizations, their environmental partnerships include World Wildlife Fund (WWF), Harvard Medical School, Center for Health and the Global Environment, World Resources Institute (WRI) and the U.S. EPA National Environmental Performance Track (PT). Not only that, they monitor their Environmental performance among all categories within their Healthy Planet 2010 goals. They actually monitor how many percentages used on transparency, energy, water as well as paper and packaging are among the categories being monitored.

It's a weekly round-up!

Monday - I was off that day and hubbykins insisted I go shopping by myself since he was busy on some stuff at home, he pretty knows me well that I love to go window shopping and just browse around hundreds of sales at the mall. The very first thing that I did was drop sears and refund that craftsman 3 size pouches that costs $13.99. after that I went to the 2nd floor and visited Jeans warehouse and at Ross to see what new things they got up, went to purchase a few things for myself which you can read over HERE.

Tuesday - dropped Nate at school nothing really exciting happened this day since I was at work anyway.

Wednesday - It was such a great day at work! what can I say? great teamwork we had at team pearl! that just sums it up, no grouchy customers, everything went so peacefully and smooth. wish all days were like that. =)

Thursday - I had such a strange dream about Nate being late for school, that afternoon I visited the library to drop off the books that are due in 2 days (so I thought) came to find out I had to pay for $13.00 for my overdued books since the 21st. my oh my, never again I'm telling ya! I must've overlooked the date, what a shame. =( what a dream!

Friday - I had work on this day and dropped off Nate for his Aloun farms field trip that morning, they all had fun at the pumpkin patch. When Nate got home that afternoon he was really dead tired and slept right away, poor guy =(.

no sweat

It's been raining again for about a week now and I am lovin' it! I love rain, that is of course only when I am home. It's a bummer though because I won't be able to jog in this damp weather, it's quite windy, too so how do you expect to sweat it off? Hawaii's weather is really something else. One day it'll be sunny while the next day will be dark and rainy, totally unpredictable! Oh, how I wish we have more space here at home I'll definitely bug hubbykins to buy me one of these a treadmills at Nordictrack.com. As long as you have one of these exercise machines, you won't bother to worry missing your workout sessions. Unfortunately, a lot of my co-workers aren't really determined to use their treadmills, can you believe that? after purchasing it and using it a few times it ends up in their extra rooms, how sad is that? maybe one day I'll probably check out their exercise machines, you can actually compare prices and browse lots of models that you can choose from.

Well, I finally got a perfect size of a pirate costume for Nathan, and what luck, too for It was the only one left at the one of the racks at Kmart, they were all 30% off, after I dropped off Nate at school I decided to drive to Kmart and look around. Well, I got lucky alright. meet my lil pirate!







I also bought a witch hat, and hubby decided he'll be wearing a mask when we take Nate trick or treating, hopefully it doesn't rain just like last year, what a bummer.

love your feet

I love being comfy at all times. I am very careful when I shop because I had bad experiences in the past of purchasing shoes that I wasn't very comfortable with, I guess it's because of the fact that I adore the designs but when I wear it I suddenly feel the urge to get rid of it as soon as possible. waste of money if you ask me, I end up not using it and donating it to a better cause instead. at work they require closed toe comfortable shoes at all times. I remembered buying ballet flats and wore it to work, but oh my goodness it hurt so bad not knowing I was assigned at customer service and not in the cash cage, my feet was sore at the end of my shift because we were constantly running all around. If you need comfy shoes try Beautifeel a place where you can find the best designed comfortable shoes on the web! It's a bit pricey but it will be worth it, you have to sacrifice a little bit, invest in a good set of shoes if you really love your feet, right? I may say they really have nice designs over there, I'm thinking of buying boots there, but I'll think about it. I don't really buy pricey shoes but hey we gotta love our feet!

a great gift

Woahh, will you look at that? where did the time go anyway? I remembered when we were all dressed up in red and taking our christmas eve family picture last year... shucks I can't believe it's another year again and it's just weeks before it will be christmas once again. truly amazing. Time is so precious indeed. SO Do you have your christmas list ready? I know I haven't and let me tell you this I know it's going to be a last minute shopping thing for me as always, I gotta remind myself to shop early. I am thinking of getting something for hubbykins, he's such a dear... tell me what you think about these Guess watches at kenmarwatches.com aren't they just a beaut? booooo!

Halloween's just weeks away and kids are soooo excited! so is my little pumpkin who wanted to dress up so bad, so I took him to Walmart last night, we went to look around and found a costume, he decided to be a Pirate this year! but unfortunately, the costume was too darn big! I need to go back there and get a refund and find a smaller size. bummer. I also bought him a sword which was $2.00 and a set of pirate earring and eye patch for a dollar, now all we need to do is find his size and maybe a pirate hat, too since he looooves captain Jack Sparrow hahaa! I am excited, too coz I'm such a kid at heart, I'll probably buy a witch hat and color my eyes and lips black! (witch laugh here)

I am soooo stupid for not looking at the label (blahh) it obviously says large on it =/. boo.

busy, busy, busy =)

hello there, peeps! how are you all doin'? for us here, it was one heck of a week, enjoyable as I may say. very busy week inspite of Nate not having school because of intersession week. tomorrow I am off and I have lots of things to do on my list. how am I gonna do all these in one day? time management, I guess. you know what I hate about myself? I just hate it when I sit in front of the computer I suddenly go blank and just start blog hopping from one site to another, sometimes I do comment but I just loooove to lurk around, you know and then all of a sudden I just realize I needed to finish a lot of tasks that day I end up not finishing it anyway. poor time management, huh? so tomorrow, I am on it! went to Kmart yesterday and hoooo boy, the store is filled with halloween and christmas decorations! oh goodness, why am I not surprised?? hahaa!

just went clothes shopping for hubby because all their items were on sale. I forgot to buy some battery operated tea light candles for the orange bags that I'm gonna turn into pumpkin lamps in our living room, lil Nate would love that for sure. I even forgot to buy some halloween icing decorations for cookies! hmm... and we went around to look for costumes, still a bit early for costume hunting, we couldn't see a perfect size for Nate since he would love to be Buzz lightyear. although he doesn't know if he wanted to be buzz lightyear, venom or batman... kids hehee.

What's on my to do list:

1. clean bathroom.
2. finish some online stuff.
3. invite Nate's friend for I'll be making halloween cookies.
4. organize our clothes and other storages.
5. exercise (lol) if this is still possible with my time =(.

- Oh, yes. I try to be careful on how I act towards people. =)

2. How good is your “emotional intelligence”?
- average, I guess? I don't know, hahaa.

- a queen, hehee. my name says it all! so why not be a queen, even for a day? LOL

- about 3 yrs from my brother, and from my half sister is about 12 yrs I think.

- everyday, we make sure we have some time for each other eventhough we are at work and the lil boy is in school.

- I kinda panic a lil bit at first. but time made me strong and I suddenly have everything in control. you just gotta work it out, don't panic.

- I think about it a hundred times. pretty simple =D

- I say a lil bit of both. I can be my mom sometimes, but most of the time I can be like my dad.

- In public, yeah! but I really don't mind if it's within homes, that's pretty fine with me.

diet diet diet...

That is all I hear about almost everywhere I go. now I feel lousy. because it just keeps reminding me to stick with my plan because time is running out. indeed running out. I have one more year before we can make baby number 2 and I need to lose weight now! fast. but sadly, I've been there. nope, it never worked for me. maybe because not all people are created the same. we all have different body chemistries so we really don't know what is best for us. I see all these diet pill infomercials and I'm like, oh that's nice, wait I'd like that for myself, on magazines I would read a lot about diet pills, the success stories and testimonials of people who actually did lost weight were incredible. unfortunately I gave up on diet pills long time ago. not only that you never know what's in it. maybe it's not bad to try, but before you try anything be sure to consult your doctor first. Because I didn't and It was bad for me. I always see this alli diet pill packages at stores and When I see the prices, I am like "whoahhh!" but according to one of my managers, it does work for her, she tried it and lost a lot of weight because of it. wow, not bad. I'm impressed. not only that, it's FDA approved, too. so go and check it out and see if it works for you.

Litratong pinoy # 2... Aking Kompyuter

Eto ang aking pinakamamahal na kaibigan, regalo sa akin yan ng mahal kong asawa para naman daw hindi ko na gamitin yung isang kompyuter sa labas ng kwarto na nabili naman nya para sa akin noong 2004 naman mula sa Dell dahil nga ilan kami ang gumagamit ng kompyuter kaya niregaluhan nya ako nitong laptop. binili nya sa akin yan noong Hunyo 16, 2007. nakuha namin yan dahil may rebate kaso nagsara yung kumpanya na pinagbilhan namin eh hindi na binalik yung pera namin. para sa akin, wala na ako pakialam, mahal na mahal ko ito dahil eto ginagamit ko para sa mga ginagawa ko araw araw. siguro matagal tagal ko rin gagamitin to, ayoko na nga palitan eh.

This is my loving friend, a gift from my loving husband so I wouldn't have to use the other computer outside the room which he bought me back in 2004 from Dell because there's a lot of us who are using the computer so he gave me this as a gift last June 16, 2007. We got that because it had a rebate but since the company that we bought it from closed so they didn't really gave our money back. but for me, I really don't care anymore, I really love this because I always use this for all the stuff I do everyday. Maybe I'll be using this for a long time, I don't even want to change it anymore.

This generation we have today is just pure technology so lots of people are into being tech savvy nowadays. Technology has come a long way and I am always wondering... what comes next in the near future? me and hubby just bought some new phones last month and since I had to change my phone into a new one we can't resist not having a micro sd for each of our phones for more memory, you know for music and games and all that stuff. small is so in! it is just too cute, what is happening to memory cards anyway? they are getting too small, but I like it. MicroSD TransFlash Mobile Memory Cards are still the best, most versatile flash memory cards in the market. I think their prices at memorysuppliers.com are fair enough, try to check it out yourself. Me and hubby bought a cheap 2GB micro sd at our favorite asian store and boy, I think it's running slow, so I might think about getting a new one for my phone. so go check it out, people!
