and oh yeah, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY LOVING BROTHER, GULLY!!!

fun day family day

It was around the 23rd when we decided to watch The Incredible Hulk, It was just an 'out of the blue' thing, you know. We just finished shopping around Wal-mart when we passed by Ward around 10:30 am, hubbykins just wanted to see the movie so bad. mom was left alone at home, Gully had an appointment for his radiation (yes, he's still at it) so I was like, can't you just wait blah blah, but no- he really wanted to go. It was such a crisp and fresh morning, a really great day to spend a family day. as you can see with the pictures here, I had to snap away even while hubby was glaring at me, he doesn't like me taking pictures, makes me look like a tourist, hahaa! hey, I was bored.

Box office opens at 11:00 so we spent 30 minutes at Starbucks, shared a coffee caramel drink (yum) then headed back upstairs. We were like the 2nd ones to enter the theatre, but I'm surprised there are still a lot of people watching on a weekday, well, you can't beat that since Matinee's much more cheaper, $7+ than night time which is $9.75! movies are soooo expensive! ackk.. especially with the gas prices increasing everyday... ugh.

I'll talk to you guys later, need to exercise now.. lately I'm very disappointed with myself, I actually gained back the 4 lbs I lost.

(notes to self) from now on rice and sweets are evil, exercise is your bestfriend.

I'll fix my photo albums on my multiply later... later, guys!

I joined SocialSpark

I've been blogging since earlier 2004 and I've never stopped after discovering how therapeutic it was for me. I got hooked after seeing all those nice blogs around the net, I didn't even know what a blog was until an online friend introduced it to me, well she didn't actuall introduced it to me but I somehow stumbled upon her blog that day and I was like 'so this is a blog' tried setting one for myself and after a few posts from then on I was hooked! blogging is a way to pour out what's on your mind, speak up your mind, tell the whole wide world what you think, in that case the world wide web. It's so easy, anybody can do it. I've never regret creating a blog, I enjoy everything about it, It's a place where I can meet lost of friends who I have in common with, they share a lot of things with you, like tips and funny jokes, tags to do when you're bored. And what's best about blogging is, you can also make a little bit of cash on the side. This is just the best thing about blogging, I signed up for paid blogging sites eversince last year and so far I can say only a few was best for me. This is great especially for stay at home moms who loves to blog and can have a little outlet of their own. I myself is a working mom, but life is hard especially from where I live teh cost of living is high, so I try my best to make a little bit out of it and use it for some grocery shopping and maybe for my personal stuff, my husband was sure happy about it. There's a lot of paid blogging sites out there, And guess what? there's a new one out! It's called SocialSpark, haven't heard it yet? I suggest you try it, I just signed up for it and I was kinda excited because it seems different as some of the recent paid blogging sites that just popped out of nowhere. It's a great site that has bloggers and advertisers mixed in one social community. You can create your profile and within minutes you'll be having friends in no time! I love how they have props, it's really cool. I get excited when someone gives me a prop, I go and say thank you and do the same thing, sometimes I do take my time and check out their blogs as well, It's a great social community that can help you boost traffic to your site and earn money as well. What I like about SocialSpark is you choose the opportunities that you want and just take the opportunity, when it's not available you can wait for a slot and they'll notify you when it is available for you to take it. I've been with them for quite a little bit and I am feeling that I'm going to like it there. There's lots to expect like a 100% Audit-able In-Post Disclosure, there's disclosure badges in your posts and that is letting the readers know that you are indeed getting paid for that certain post. There's also the 100% Transparency, so everyone will know what advertisers you are working with and what opportunities you have, everything is fair and honest, the public knows what everyone is doing. 100% Real Opinions are great, because every blogger has a right to say something and you have the right to pick what's best for your blog, I like how they don't have restrictions when it comes to real opinions, that's what really counts, honesty. and last but not the least it's 100% Search Engine Friendly, I say yay for this! because every link has a "no-follow" attribute so blogs and advertisers are safe from search engine penalties from paid linking. So there you have it. There are still a lot to know so if I were you, sign up with them now! you won't regret it.

Camp rock!!

I was bawling my eyes out all afternoon watching abc family in bed cuddling with my son. Even last night (checks clock: 12:19 am) I mean the other night, the 20th when Disney channel aired the premiere of CAMP ROCK , It was such an awesome movie! I love Demi Lovato and The Jonas Brothers as well as Alyson Stoner from Cheaper by the dozen movie and Missy Elliotts hip hop videos, I think their voices all sound good together. You gotta watch it! I swear, I'm 25 but I still have a heart of a lil girl. I am never ever gonna stop watching Disney channel, me and my son are bestfriends when it comes to watching our fave shows on Disney, but when it comes to singing and dancing my son never lets me get into action =D silly boy, hahaa! While watching it last night he was dancing to the tune of camp rock, too bad I didn't get my camera to capture that moment, my son loves to sing and dance, he uses his ribcage (lol) as a guitar which is really funny. I was watching some videos on youtube of Demi and Selena, I couldn't believe Selena Gomez came here in Oahu at the 50th state fair! that was by Aloha Stadium, too. pretty close from where we're at. to think that was the commercial on the radio I was hearing every morning until the 31st of May, too bad we didn't go. blehh, anyways I feel sleepy now. did nothing much but finish 2 tasks and bloghopped. If I didn't comment on your humble abodes I promise I'll do it when I'm off on Monday. toodles! God bless....

Injury Lawyers

We always hear scary stories on tv, no not monster movies or slasher movies, I'm talking about real stories of people that involves medical malpractices around medical fields, like surgeons and nurses and doctors that didn't do their job properly on people that needed help. It's really scary. What if it happens to you? what are you going to do? Sometimes we need to look for the right people that can help us find that justice we are truly looking for. Nowadays, We need to be careful, if it happens to you one day you know exactly what to do. Just imagine the tragic moments you have experienced, it's hard to cope up with the feeling of being lost, deprived with your rights as a human being. If you live around the Chicago area and you need help, call the Chicago personal injury lawyers right now and they will be able to help you fight for your rights. Their lawyers will be able to help you since they have a great firm with lots of experiences especially within the medical field because they have medical professionals on staff which is great. Their practice areas includes personal injury, medical malpractices, birth injuries, vehicle accidents and misdiagnosis.

mmm... wine

I'm no wine drinker, but I do sip sometimes, like when I need to fall asleep badly for those nights that I have a hard time getting to sleep. Special times like New years eve or maybe Christmas. We have red wine in the refrigerator right now and I don't feel like drinking, looks yummy but not good for me. the last time I drank Wine was a few months ago when I drank 1/2 cup that night just to try it, my hubbykins brought it home around New years and boy did my body fell to bed! my mom's the wine drinker around here, since time in memorial when they were still together with my dad before, my dad used to buy her countless bottles of wine, we had a lot. and When they went out she drank, too. People ask why the french women never grow old, and their secret I guess was the wine they always drank, I read that from some magazine when I was young. Wine is somehow like an age defying drink. hmmm... that explains why most elderly women looks so good, those who drank wine that is. Well, it's up to you if you want to believe it or not. Anyways, Why don't you check out goldmedalwine.com for their best fine wines? If you're a wine enthusiast you gotta be a member there and you can enjoy their wine of the month picks, how about that? I swear if I was wine drinker, I'll be joining them in a heartbeat.

daddy's corner

This is such a beautiful meme, just in time for father's day indeed. Well, today's father's day, and since I wasn't tagged thought I'd snagged it and post it here, I would really, really love to brag about my hubby as a great father. how about you? who's the great father you wanna brag about?

My husband is a great father. he's a simple guy and does not wear a lot of jewelry either. he's not fond of shopping for expensive stuff, he's an adventurous guy but he's more of a home and work person, but he loves to shop... for food! that's one of his weaknesses. He's a great guy, funny and loves to joke around. he'll put a smile on your face, he may look uptight but he's a real down to earth person, very humble. he cares about a lot of people, he's a loveable guy, he helps out around the house whenever he can eventhough he is exhausted from work. I admire him very much for he can give his 110%, he'll do whatever it takes just so he can provide for our family. he loves the simple life, he loves to spoil us, not with material things but with the simple things like LOVE and CARE, that's why we love him very much. I still have a lot to brag about him but those are the greatest points I can sure say he's a great father and a role model to my son. {Start Copy Here}

jewelry at its finest

I love fashion. I always loved fashion eversince I was a kid, I even wanted to go to a fashion design school someday, It was always my dream since I loved drawing very much and designing clothes was my pastime. I kept all the drawings but I left it back home in the Philippines. but I know I won't be venturing in that profession soon, it's just too pricey, can't afford it. and yeah, I even design the jewelry for the outfits I design, it was pretty cool back then. Would love to make my own jewelry someday. dream on, kit. So yeah, I am a sucker for jewelries! I think most of the women of today love jewelries especially handcrafted jewelry like that you see at wendyculpepper.com one of the many jewelry designers we have in our time. Who would resist that? I love all kinds of jewelry, it just brings out the best in a woman. If you are looking for nice handcrafted silver and Gold jewelry, try wendyculpepper.com, her pieces are amazing, they are even worn by famous celebrities and as seen on popular magazines. They have all kinds of jewelries like sterling silver, designer and fine gold jewelries. for earrings, necklaces, rings and bracelets try finding the best one for you.

the BEST

Nowadays there are a lot of diet fads coming out, left and right. sometimes I feel the urge to purchase some of them myself, but thank goodness, I'm still in control. well, in that case thanks to my hubbykins for making me think not only once or twice, but many many times! If you are on a strict diet, do you convince yourself to buy any kind of diet pills? A lot of people still do and eventhough they wouldn't know what are the side effects of each one, they still drink it no matter what. Scary, if you think about it there's a lot we don't know in each diet pill. to get to know more about that special pill that you want to try, or if you aren't sure what's the right one for you, visit consumerpricewatch.net for more information and reviews on products that can help you find the right one. based on buying experience they have reviewed the best products based on their 12-Point Criteria. Now, let's say we can find the best diet pill, but is it affordable? no problem, after reviewing the product they have found the best places where you can get them for the affordable price. goodluck!

eekk-cited!

hubby came home the other day after bringing the van for it's maintenance at cutter dodge, he is thinking of exhanging our van for the new 2009 Dodge Journey, you can check out it's spankin' features HERE, it's freakin' awesome! my hubbykins said he fell in love with it as soon as he saw it. I didn't believe him until I read the Dodge journey magazine he handed me. aawww, I want that! but hubby says he has to compare the prices first, but I doubt it that we won't be able to get it since it's been a year since we bought our van. I still love my van...

furniture and beyond

I'm a sucker for furnitures, I swear! I love visiting furniture departments whenever I get a chance. too bad I can't shop for any nice furnitures right now since we don't have a lot of space here at home, we're on a lookout for a 2 bedroom right here in our condo and I am just wishing we could be able to find one with more space as possible. When you don't own your very own house it's impossible to keep on buying since it will be a burden especially when you keep on moving. we are planning to buy our own home soon, so we're crossing our fingers that will happen soon at the right time. I just don't want to waste my stuff you know when you move a lot, when you can't afford to bring it all with you especially if you move from state to state, it's gonna be hard! like my officemates, for example they told me they bought a lot of stuff when they were in Germany, took it to Alaska, when they were about to move for good here in Hawaii they had to give up most of their precious Furniture which saddens them so much. When you have the space, sure enough you get to buy a lot of stuff that you need and will make your house stand out. Like my little desk here in our room, it doesn't hold much except for some cd's, some bill documents and my laptop. there's no room for other stuff, bummer. That's why I am eyeing this modern home office desk at furniturefromhome.com, isn't it a beaut? goodnes, I would like to have one for myself where I can have plenty of space and put my own resources on it. And yes, when it comes to having a great bedroom, nothing beats having gorgeous Bedroom Furniture that makes it cozy and stylish, you and your husband will fall in love with their sets for sure. How can we forget the center of your home? It's where the family gets together, hangs out and enjoy their time as a happy family, The living room requires a neat cozy Living Room Furniture set that will be the heart of your home. sounds nice, huh? but we can all dream that one day our homes will be filled with great elegant furnitures like these. (sigh) If only I can buy a set right now.

shoots!

My, my it's been a week, huh? Where did the time go? how time sure flies by so fast when you're havin' fun. I'm still here, people. please bear with me as I visit all your blogs one by one. I really appreciate all the daily visits you guys give. It's been a hectic week. I'm finishing a lil project of mine here, so crosses fingers hopefully it will be done by the next week or so. I shopped for Nathan's school stuff last night and got it all on sale at Walmart and Kmart. I am so excited for my lil pumpkin to go to school, the emotions I feel right now are overwhelming, I tell ya. there's a lil bit of bad news though, Aliamanu elementary declined our Geographic exception application, so he will be entering his home school which is Salt lake elementary. Well, its not bad at all, it's pretty nice over there I may say, the school close to the mountains so they have a pretty good breeze coming down on their school. I just wish all will be well with Nathan's first day of school. I'll blog again tomorrow... I updated my other Blog too, let's link exchange over there, guys! kindly add my blog, pls. leave your name and URL and I'll get back at you. thanks!

boots for all

Oh my goodness, I've just stumbled upon this website that sells boots! well, not stylish boots for us women, but work boots! yes, work boots for men, hardworking men who needs the best footwear for their work. I gotta tell hubby dearest about this website, well he doesn't really buy stuff online, he'd rather buy it in personal where he can get to wear it, try it on for size, he has to make sure it's the right thing. my hubby is a picky one when it comes to work shoes, we usually buy it at one of the stores here, he loves to pick those light brown suede kind like that Wolverine Work Boots you see at their website, he needs a great pair of steel toe shoes that's for sure. needs the exact measurements and all that since he really has big feet. They have a lot of brand names to choose from, it's up to you if you want to shop by brand or by styles, it's definitely up to you whatever you choose. hubby's shoes are the cheapest ones, he really doesn't buy anything over his budget since he only uses it at work, you can't imagine him with a very nice pair of shoes because seriously he easily gets them dirty! so if you are a picky shoe shopper, drop by at workbootsusa.com now!

Scrap addict Sundays (outdoor) + other stories

CREDITS: MILLA DESIGNS (SURF'S UP)

This will be for Week of May 25 = Outdoor, I had a great time finishing this LO, it just reminds me of our island home Hawaii. I don't have any good recent outdoor pics just yet, so that will do.

I have been so busy with work lately, everytime I come home I get so lazy to open my laptop I usually cuddle with hubbykins and my son, chit chat with my family and just go out when I'm off, we watch movies, shop... today and tomorrow will be my days off woohoo! but I have other plans, like fixing my picture albums, cleaning the house.. you know, doing productive stuff. me and my mom are into crochet lately. months ago I bought a yarn ball and a purple hook, she found it hidden under the bathroom cabinet, when I went home one day she finished it within hours, that's when she realized she wanted to crochet again. So we bought her some yarn balls at walmart, she finished 2 blankets so far, one was baby pastel colors, and the other one she's finishing right now is for our living room sofa bed, a combination of dark blue and light blue yarn. I bought a pair of wooden bamboo sticks for knitting and the color I am using is a combination of darn pink and browns. I'm going to make a large bag, I just hope it turns out good, I even borrowed a knitting book at the library =D.

I'm learning how to knit, I only how to crochet eversince back in the 5th grade for our HE class., but knitting with 2 sticks, not yet. so far I only know how to do a slipknot and the cast on. Do you guys know any great videos that teach knitting in a very slow mode? the videos I watch at youtube are really fast, I can't seem to get it. I'm really eager to learn! anybody?

Well, let me tell you about our lil bus adventure that happened some a weeks ago. We tried using the Bus, got on bus # 3 RUGER/KOKOHEAD and dropped us off close to Ala Moana Blvd. at restaurant row, it was such a nice feeling catching the bus, to us it was an adventure! After the movies, we watched Horton hears a Who, which was a great kiddie cartoon by the way, We went back to the street and waited for bus # 3 again. It did came but goodness, We caught the wrong bus! It took us to a lot of places like Waialae, Diamond head, KOKOHEAD. it stopped somewhere I wasn't sure were. Hubby got nervous and was anxious to pick us up if we got stranded. The driver was kinda in a bad mood, my mom whispered "hmphhh ugaling pinoy!" then I just made a face, glad he didn't make us pay since the bus offered at least one free transfer. We did manage to get back in Salt lake, were we live and hubby drove at the end of our street, picked us up coz it was raining so hard! Lesson I learned that day: Always call the bus for directions! We plan on catching the bus again next time, and for sure we'll call the bus for the bus # 3 Salt lake route.

So how are you guys doing? I feel so bad for not visiting lately, I promise after this post I'll hoppity hop down to your blogs. thank you for those people who always manage to peek (based on my bloglog) thank youuuuuu! and for link exchanges I'll be posting your links on my sidebar. mahalo!
