So I was fixing the room, cleaning it up a little bit when I realized there were lots of toys under the bed! I gathered them all up and secured them all in a plastic bag. I swear, when you have kids toys will be everywhere. I suddenly remembered when I was a kid, me and my brother would play and we would have a trunk full of toys that we would make a small town out of it and we would play for hours. So when I want to get mad at my son, I suddenly realized that I was once a kid. And I'm still a kid, I'm a kid at heart. So toys everywhere in the room is expected. What more if there's a baby in the house, right? Oh, goodness!
little toys everywhere

dog on a leash
That's what majority of people say when they see toddlers on a leash. Animal inspired (LOL) When I first saw one a few years ago, I thought it was cute. My mind didn't spark any feeling of anger against the parent at all. Yeah, it does look degrading but if you think about it, YOU are protecting your children that way. I remember my son when he was only 3 before, he couldn't stay put and if you take your eyes away from your child just a few seconds - ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN! When I bring my son to shop I make sure I put him in the cart so he doesn't get away from me. Holding a child doesn't work, he could easily slip away and you'll never know where your toddler is at. My mom called me last week and reminded me to take good care of Nathan no matter what. Because there was an accident that happened on their street, The dad was on the other side of the road when the toddler ran to his father and a vehicle had hit the boy. Poor thing. Can you imagine this as your child? Scary, isn't it?
When I also watched Pet Sematary before and the boy wanders off into the road, then a truck was approaching really fast and before he could stop he had hit the boy. It's devastating! No matter how degrading products are made this days to protect your children, Just think about the best thing you can do for them. That's why I'm adding this on my baby check list for my next pregnancy.

mini albums galore
What can I say?? I LOVE THEM! I can't stop thinking of making my very first mini album. I am planning on making one for my niece's birthday on September, It will also serve as a gift for her before she leaves for College. She will be attending UC Irvine. I met her when she was 10. She was an awesome little girl, very humorous. She still is up to now. She never runs out of ideas and jokes, never a dull moment. I am very blessed to witness Celina and her brother Thomas growing up before my eyes.
There are hundreds of mini albums over HERE, The inspiration is just endless. I can't wait to make my family mini albums as well. This can be a great gift to a friend or loved one. Just choose a theme and you can start from there. I am planning a hybrid one and currently choosing the best pictures to go within the mini album. I'm just finding the time to make one, I don't seem to find any available time to make it since we have many errands left and right. Scrapbooking is fun, what more if you're working on a mini?
Make yours today!

Shows in the 90's
If you were one of those kids who grew up in the 90's, THIS site is a great place to visit. The memories of my childhood just comes back all over again. Me and my brother loved watching Nickelodeon. Every morning before going to school we flip the channel to Nickelodeon and we would have a dose of our favorites. The same thing would be in the afternoon after school. Our favorites were: All that, Kenan and Kel, Hey arnold, Rugrats, Rockos modern life, are you afraid of the dark, Legends Of the Hidden Temple, Clarissa explains it all.
Moving to other channels, We also watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Ranma 1/2, Macross, other japanese drama cartoons that were tagalized like: Trapp family singers, Princess Sarah, Remi, Heidi, Cedie, A Dog of flanders and so on. A few Anime's here and there like Gundam Wing, Sailor moon, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Wedding peach, Pokemon, Mojacko, Dexter's lab... We watched a lot of Bioman, Shaider, Masked rider black, Power rangers (LOL)... The list just goes on. I'm happy to walk down memory lane, I feel as if I'm a kid again. It feels so good. I miss my childhood days, Don't you?
More to come...

no kids allowed (yeah, right)
I overheard a couple of young girls a few days ago and they were all talking about having children. The other one pulled on a disgusted face and raised her palms in front of her saying she and her husband don't want any kids. Not anytime soon, but for good. She already handled her nieces and nephews and it wasn't good. I'm like - 'really?' She would look young right now but there will come a day she would want to have her own children, but what if that day comes and you are not fit to have children anymore, right? regrets will come at the end and There is nobody to blame but yourself. something to think about, right?
I had some friends back in high school and college who vowed to stay away from motherhood because of their experiences with some children. Others are afraid to ruin their precious bodies... pffft... physical beauty is nothing but skin deep, true beauty lies within. Nothing beats the happiness of being a mother. Be proud because that is a blessing from God. ;)

Nathan had a lot of fun at their halloween fall fair, he brought back a huge bag with lots of goodies in it! as well as halloween projects they made in class. we met up with our neighbors and with their kids around 6:00 pm and we went to the navy housing and had a great scare! had lots of candies and the houses were just amazing than the last time, so cute! It didn't rain either, hurray for that! the sucky part was.... I was sick! allergies acted up since at work. so bummer. but all in all, it turned out great for all of us.

Camp rock!!
I was bawling my eyes out all afternoon watching abc family in bed cuddling with my son. Even last night (checks clock: 12:19 am) I mean the other night, the 20th when Disney channel aired the premiere of CAMP ROCK , It was such an awesome movie! I love Demi Lovato and The Jonas Brothers as well as Alyson Stoner from Cheaper by the dozen movie and Missy Elliotts hip hop videos, I think their voices all sound good together. You gotta watch it! I swear, I'm 25 but I still have a heart of a lil girl. I am never ever gonna stop watching Disney channel, me and my son are bestfriends when it comes to watching our fave shows on Disney, but when it comes to singing and dancing my son never lets me get into action =D silly boy, hahaa! While watching it last night he was dancing to the tune of camp rock, too bad I didn't get my camera to capture that moment, my son loves to sing and dance, he uses his ribcage (lol) as a guitar which is really funny. I was watching some videos on youtube of Demi and Selena, I couldn't believe Selena Gomez came here in Oahu at the 50th state fair! that was by Aloha Stadium, too. pretty close from where we're at. to think that was the commercial on the radio I was hearing every morning until the 31st of May, too bad we didn't go. blehh, anyways I feel sleepy now. did nothing much but finish 2 tasks and bloghopped. If I didn't comment on your humble abodes I promise I'll do it when I'm off on Monday. toodles! God bless....
