A lot of people tell me that Scuba Diving is a really addicting sport. I myself love the ocean very much and I would remember back in the Philippines friends and families enjoy scuba diving pretty much because of the nice beaches. This is a much delayed tag from a sweet darlene (sorry, darl ngayon lang!) so here goes...
I won't be including a photo since you know what I look like anyway (look at the left side..hi!) anyways, for most of you know who I am already. Some of you knew my life story from the start. So for the sake of new friends, here it goes...
I was born in May (A Taurus..a hardheaded one) named: ________. my mom is Full Filipina, my dad was retired Navy. born in subic Naval base, Olongapo City Philippines. I have one brother, Gulliver and one half sister Athena. My dad retired early from the Navy so we didn't experience the life of being Navy brats. But we did enjoy the things military life has to offer, I was very thankful for my dad coz of that. I grew up with the love and care of my parents, I can say I experienced a great childhood eventhough money was a bit tight on the edges. I love drawing clothes, designing clothes were my fave and I always dreamed of going into design school and study fashion designing. I grew up loving school very much, I was engaged in most contests like spelling bees, coloring contests, on the spot poster making contests and joining clubs up to high school. I can't say I'm a whiz kid, coz I really wasn't a bright one. I excelled at most subjects and I just focused on school eventhough Math and Physics were my weaknesses. I managed to pass them. I disliked cutting classes way back. I enjoyed making friends in school, I was lucky to be in private schools. I can't consider myself one of the popular girls (since I wasn't) but the whole school knew me very well (the school was a bit small) I would be friends with different cliques since I enjoy taking to most people anyways, and back in high school we would always walk after school to subic, where we always do our tambays somehow the beach just releases tensions and the stress from work and at the same time the hardships I was experiencing coz of financial problems. that was always the daily routine and in weekends, too. I never ever went into clubs, coz somehow I don't really enjoy it. I don't drink, smoke or do a lot of illegal stuff that you can think of. I was proud of myself that I kept myself clean and reserved..until my hubby came into my life. It was a tough time around college, I had an opportunity to represent my barangay for the Miss Olongapo 2001 competition. sadly, It's a money contest, you have to do fund raising and whoever gets the most cash wins! I wasn't into that, I joined for the sake of our captain, he really wanted me to join.. from there, to cut the story short I met my mother in law, she was the committee chairman for our city fiesta (she was a city councilor at that time), I remembered it was Sept. when I first met her, she was in front of the audience wearing all black from her hair to her shoes, all dolled up, she reminded me of a rich chinese lady at first. What's funny is when I was walking out the door coz the meeting was adjourned she stopped and asked me: "iha, para kang artista! may boyfriend ka na ba?" I blushed of course and I thought that was the last time I was going to see her. so yeah, she gave her son (hubby) my number and I never ever got a call from him ever until one day a text message came from my cell and I didn't knew who it was from, I didn't have load but I kept it anyways, I answered it after a month later, and he responded! sooooooo, to make it short (again) he married me after 5 months later and we now have a wonderful son (thank God) I am so thankful to God he made our paths crossed, I love my family very much, my in laws for their support, to everyone who made it possible! and there you go folks, that's about me (and my life story) hope I didn't bore ya! until next post!

- my dad always has something for us every christmas eve. he would always surprise us with wonderful things, and no there weren't gifts under the tree coz we didn't have a christmas tree back then so It was always mainly a surprise for both of me and my brother.
- I love joining spelling bee, on the spot drawing, and coloring contests when I was in elementary and I always had a prize no matter what. It was always the best feeling ever, It's a gift of happiness for my parents and they were always proud of me eventhough I didn't excel much in my academics when I reached high school.
2 scary incident/accident/instance that you will never forget
- I was just learning how to drive when I was 19 back in the Philippines. me and hubby just got married. It was around Aug. 2002 we were on our way home from my driving lessons when he suddenly parked-- got out of the car and switched seats with me, I was like so nervous coz at that time I was only used driving a low car, getting into a different car right away (was much higher) so It was kind of different for me, and we were almost home when this yellow jeepney in front started to turn left after loading a passenger, so me and my stupid foot instead of hitting the brakes, no I pushed the gas.. then BAM! I can't believe I totalled my hubby's feroza! his lights were smashed so was his bumper. he didn't blame me or anything coz he admitted that it was his fault in the first place, luckily the jeepney's passengers were all ok, for me I bruised my knee a lil bit. an experience to remember.
- It was the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo, I thought we were all a goner! I'll tell that story some other time since It's a bit long =P.

We woke up around 7 and went to eat at Koa Pancake house, I simply ordered a Denver Omelette (yum) with baked potatoes on the side while hubby and Nathan settled with pancakes. We went around the Island toay, and I say it was a terrific wonderful day (a scorching hot day!), The beaches was just crowded with people, It was so much fun. We had a great time, stopped by each of the breath taking scenic points. the ocean was superb, It was color green, you can really see the fishes swimming because of the crystal clear water.

A bump to remember + happy news
I was folding clothes when my mom screamed my name, I hurriedly went outside.. saw my son holding his forehead and crying a lil bit, he didn't want to cry (silly boy) he was keeping it all in... and guess what, he had a huge bump on his forehead! it was the biggest bump I've ever seen. according to him he was running out without looking along his path, he bumped his head from the edge of our bedroom door. scraed the crap outta me, I tell ya. kids really don't listen until they get hurt (lil boys nga naman) anyways, I am off today and I just want to scrap so bad! In other news, great news that is... hubby asked me if I can get 3 days leave for december, we're going to San Diego!!! yayyy! Disneyland here we coooooome! It's been 3 years since we last went there and I am so excited to see Mickey and friends, this time Nathan's coming with us I am soo happy, I feel bad coz my brother and mom can't come because he has his radiation and chemotherapy still ongoing, poor guy. anyways there's always a time for everything, right? It's not yet official since I haven't talked to my boss yet. (fingers crossed) hope she approves it coz It's really gonna be worth it. sorry for being away for so long, my apologies. funny how when you're gone for a long time people can really forget about you. Hello, everyone! I missed you guys! sorry for not being able to visit you when I can, I only log in and make up with my assignments, my time on the computer every day is about total of 30 minutes, 15 minutes in the morning and 15 at night. Eversince we started training for our IBM system we've been working sometimes 10 to 12 hours straight, for the past 3 weeks we only had one day off for each week, we are always called on at work. Imagine that? I am sooooo tired. =/ and of course I am feeling sicky every now and then coz of the stress we're handling right now. I want to blog some more but there's just not enought time, I'll try my best tomorrow morning to update again. I'm starting to feel my jeans loosen up a bit. hurrayyy! I miss blogging, I miss bloghopping, I miss scrapping my heart out... If you got a mybloglog you can see that I drop by sometimes on your pages but can't make comments. (sigh) there's just too much to do but so little time. darn it! hopefully everything will be ok in the next few days. my son made me and his papa happy! I actually dared him if he can read the word: b-a-t (not on paper, I was just spelling it by mouth) and lo and behold out of the blue he quickly responsed BAT!, and I was like @_@ woahh! are my ears deceiving me or what? so I tried it one more time, c-a-t then he thought for a few seconds, CAT!, and so I tried dog, bet, bad, etc. he mainly got them all correct, and We were such happy parents ever. our lil boy is growing up... sorry, I'm just too emotional right now... I'll keep up with you tommorrow.. be back with a new post. hopefully. and oh yeah, yesterday I was almost got engaged with an accident down by Nimitz highway, I was driving of course to pick up hubbykins then It was all smooth driving, we were in a green arrow light driving 35 mph then all of a sudden a white car zoomed past the car in front me breaking all the way! shoot, the car in front of me was a close call, the last thing I heard was the long honking sound in front of me, so scary. That stupid driver who drove past in front us drove past a RED LIGHT! grrr, I am so pissed, really there are really a lot of idiotic drivers out there. mostly a lot who are on their cellphones, PLEASE DO NOT USE YOUR CELLPHONE WHILE DRIVING! you don't know what it can cause, believe me... if you love your self and you still wanna live.. pls refrain from using your cellphones. anyways, enough ranting.. gotta sleep now. love you guys! take care and God bless!

Mom and Dad were watching TV when Mom said, "I'm tired, and it's getting late. I think I'll go to bed."
She went to the kitchen to make sandwiches for the next day's lunches.
Rinsed out the popcorn bowls, took meat out of the freezer for supper the following evening, checked the cereal box levels, filled the sugar container, put spoons and bowls on the table and started the coffee pot for brewing the next morning.
She then put some wet clothes in the dryer, put a load of clothes into the washer, ironed a shirt and secured a loose button.
She picked up the game pieces left on the table, put the phone back on the charger and put the telephone book into the drawer.
She watered the plants, emptied a wastebasket and hung up a towel to dry.
She yawned and stretched and headed for the bedroom. She stopped by the desk and wrote a note to the teacher, counted out some cash for the field trip, and pulled a text book out from hiding under the chair.
She signed a birthday card for a friend, addressed and stamped the envelope and wrote a quick note for the grocery store. She put both near her purse.

I finally watched Disturbia the other night, the darn dvd they gave me at blockbuster was just full of scratches, I was just so pissed at the time I started watching it around 1:30 am, I know (I should be sleeping, right?) can't help it since I am totally a night owl! so, after reading Harry Potter I decided to watch it anyway.. I just hate it when it stops.. then plays again.. stop.. play.. stop.. darn it. yeah, I enjoyed the movie I love Shia LaBeouf's (the IT boy) acting. Eversince his Even Stevens days, I knew he really has that talent right there. I read at a Vanity Fair magazine that he's the next Tom Hanks =). wow. and I surely can't wait for Indiana Jones to come out! weeee! today we went out and ordered Nathan's birthday cake, a spiderman design. I just hope they make it good coz the price.. wheeeeew... is really off the roof right there. I don't even know what it looks like either. Nathan's birthday is on the 20th (that's monday) the lil one's soooo excited. my lil boy is turning 4, awww...

1. I love cleaning the house around 12 am. I think One time I was still up at 2:00 am cleaning the bathroom. my hubby just rolled his eyes. I know, weird isnt it?
2. I love the rain very much,when it rains I am very active at work and at home, I just have this positive energy to work, work, and work. and If I am bored I will dig up a lot of things to do at home perhaps clean the house or mess around my closets and sort out the junks we have. =P
3. I love someone and miss it very much. It's my hotdog pillow. it's still back in the Philippines, when I was born according to my mom I would always sleep next to it. my lola (grandmother) would always sew the seams whenever it ripped and replaced the cloth, she had to put the original hotdog pillow filling inside until it grew thicker. I couldn't sleep without it, whenever I am away from it I couldn't sleep well. whenever I'm sick I would just put my pillow in front of my face and my nose and my sickness will go away. I remember my dad was so sick of it he already had trashed it! my mom saved it anyways and had to wash it again. The cloth was full of stains from chocolate and milk over the years. up to now I still miss it. they promised me they wouldn't throw it away since it's my age, well maybe more older than me, It was sure my security blanket =P. When it comes back to me I'll take a picture of it.
4. my creative juices can only work at night, I don't know why. during the day time when I have time sometimes to do what I want to do... that's when I get lazy! but when nighttime strikes I am just dying to do what I have planned. any explanation for that? I just love working at night. even at work, I love night shifts, too.
5. I love the beach very much. It takes away the tensions and helps me relax a lot. at our window during early in the morning and late at night I open the window and breathe the fresh air coming from the ocean. We can see the ocean in our window, eventhough it's miles away from our home the sea breeze just comes in like that.
6. When I am doing something like scrapbooking, pixelling or drawing.. I tend to push my tongue out, hmm.. no clue why it's like that, but anyways I feel contented hanging it out for a lil while. weird huh? hahahaa..

I cried a bit when my friend Kim just told me the news that they are about to quit the end of september, oh boy I couldn't help holding back my tears coz I was really sad for them to leave. I've been working with them for 4 years now, and eversince I met them they were my super close buddies ever! we don't usually hang out or anythingbut it's really nice knowing them. as soon as she got off from the phone talking with candice she looked at me with her worried eyes and told me about their secret, they applied for a job at Tripler Hospital since they were Nursing students, but I wish them all the best. I know how burned they are working at customer service, they're really stressing a lot and I understand how they feel. students who juggle school and work can really be stressful and full of pressure so I know how they're feeling right now. Even though they wouldn't say anything at all I can just feel how tired they really are. They're graduating next year and I am really happy for them. they're going to make great Nurses someday. but yeah, I feel so awkward for bursting out my tears (gahh, I was so emotional!) but that explains it coz yesterday I just had that red alert (that time of the month again) thank goodness... So anyways, I'm still a bit sad though.. so I decided to scrap, I'll be sending it to her probably tomorrow. (sigh) Oh well, I'm off to bed now... great day to everyone and God bless!
