my yearender post..

There's about an hour and a half more before we enter the new year... So, this will be my last post for the year 2007. year 2007 has been a good year, a lot of good and bad times but it's all good. God is very good for all the trials he has given us... today as I opened my email hubby was peeking who had emailed me then there was one from his auntie in Maryland, it was a prayer... I cried when I read it, It was an announcement that one of Jon's auntie had joined our Lord Dec. 31, 2007. I was in tears, she was the youngest of my MIL's siblings... Jon quickly phoned his mom in the Philippines. I really can't believe she's gone... Rest in peace auntie Babot... we love you...

Presentacion Gregorio Abas 1950-2007

Well, as we goodbye to the year 2007.. what are we thankful for anyway? and what are the things we're about to expect for the next year?
I am thankful...

1. for God for giving us trials in life where we grow more stronger and wiser each day.
2. for giving me a great family, a loving and caring husband, a wonderful healthy son and for my supportive in-laws as well as my mom and brother who's always there for me.
3. My work where I find myself learning new things and meeting new people. plus, it's a great help to me and my family.
4. my friends at work who makes me laugh all the time, long time friends who live far away from me, online friends who are very supportive eventhough we haven't met yet in person... thank you all for being such nice friends...
5. for giving me the inspiration to live and love my life each day.

Thank you, God....

I hope in the new year, God would continue to bless us with...

good health for all my families, peace for each and every one of us, happiness and contentment in life. I hope we could continue to love one another and get rid of hatred... remember, material things is not all that. I just want a complete, happy family.. that's all. I can say I am very happy, I don't have any grudges deep inside so thank God for that! soooo...

HAVE A HAPPY PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR!!!

Stanley's back in Korea!

My SIL just sent me Thomas' project, so here's the flat guy now! I'm so glad they enjoyed the pics. What a bummer, though coz when Stanley arrived here in Hawaii it was raining throughout the whole week! how about that, huh? anyways, here's the video.

rental property investments

I always admired my mother-in-law eversince I learned a lot from her. She's really great when it comes to handling her properties, she's a property owner, by the way. She and her siblings manage a lot of properties from different parts of our town back in the Philippines, and she's really great at it. she knows how to balance stuff in between, I don't know he she does it, most properties that she rents out is mostly for foreign business owners, which is really good. I would accompany her with all her business errands and I learn a thing or two from her. So if you are interested in rental property investment you might want to check out with GMAC Real Estate. Rental properties is well known to small investors throughout these years, They say that investing in rental properties is much more profitable than long-term stock market investments. But first things you have to consider before you plunge in this kind of investment, you have to read the pros and cons of investing in rental property investment. Learn More About Investing in Rental Properties at gmacrealestate.com and see if it's really for you. goodluck!

christmas eve recap

Christmas was great, I had to work christmas eve but luckily our store closed around 3:00 so we went home around 5:30. This was my crew that day, and we had fun, too. It was a busy day but we still got to prepare food like chinese chicken salad, bbq chicken, african chiken curry, some haupia pie and lumpia. picture from left to right, that's me, Leona (filipina), Dawn(korean), center is ate Ana (filipina), Khadijah (african). We did ok that day, thank God. and so that night I took a last pic of our tree....

As we were waiting for 12:00 MN we had a call from my auntie-in-law from San Diego, she didn't sound good.. when my hubby finished talking to her we just learned his auntie from the Philippines just had a stroke and they rushed her in the Hospital in Manila. and then a few hours later we also learned that they did a brain surgery on her, how sad... we were so sad from that news, midnight came we had to forget about it even for a few minutes. my husband loved that auntie of his very much, her children grew up with them in the same house so it was a very tragic moment knowing about that. and yesterday when I cam home from work my mom told me that they are deciding to pull the plug on her. I was shocked to hear that... she's now in her critical condition and we all know once you have brain surgery there's not enough left in your life anymore... so pls. pray for my husband's auntie... we were all dearly close to her... we're all so sad by the news, terribly.. that's why I cannot post more pics right now... my SIL in korea can't make it to go back home in the Philippines, even us we can't afford to leave now... I hope they can understand our situation.

I'll blog again tonight. we'll see... have a great day, friends!

cerebral palsy

When I was pregnant with my son and I went into labor, I was always afraid that doctors or nurses might accidentally do something drastic to my son, I don't like having medical malpractices, it happens mostly around the world, if that happens it mostly results to cerebral palsy of your child while giving birth. and that isn't good at all. I was so lucky when my son's heartbeat dropped they performed an emergency c-section within 5 minutes, they told me that was the fastest c-section they had ever performed on a patient. and luckily the staff were very good, my son was alright, thank God. I was lucky I had the best medical care attention when my son was in his critical condition, and I was lucky they didn't wait around, they were efficient and I am thankful for them. but I feel very sorry for the people who experienced medical malpractice, if you know you are one of these people you might want to visit cerebral-palsy-injury.com, There are Cerebral palsy lawyers that can help you within that subject. the medical field has it's own advantages and disadvantages and it's important that we pay attention to failed medical attention, if you believe you have the rights to fight for your child who developed cerebral palsy injury due to medical mistakes, try seeking Legal assistance at cerebral-palsy-injury.com, and you will be happy you did.

shrinking woes

As much as I hate to admit it, I am obsessed with losing weight, eversince I had my son I started to expand really fast. I would maintain my weight but that's not enough, I would really love to take it all off and have my old body back. wishful thinking I know, especially the holiday foods at home and at work it seems so impossible to start. but following all these latest diet fads nowadays isn't really working out for me, I guess every person is different, some would work on each person. If you are having a problem with your weight you might want to try reading some of these diet tips and diet plans at magnetic-diet.com, I say they have some great reads over there that can offer a lot of people who want to lose weight faster. It's almost 2008, and I hate creating resolutions that I can't even stick to, I might just use some of these diet tips and tricks and see what happens. If you noticed there are a lot of diet paid advertisings on tv and sometimes it's quite tempting to buy those diet pills, food, tablets and whatnot. Can you imagine how much money you're going to spend for all those?

I say, go the simple way. much better for each individual, maybe you would like to try the Magnetic Diet mini course? go ahead and visit them and see what's in store for you, anyway, It's free! just leave your name and email. just read everything from their website and it just might hit you to just try it and see for yourself. good luck!

MERRY CHRISTMAS...

to all, and to all a good night!

pls. take this card from my family to yours... have a blessed christmas, everyone!

I'll be visiting you all later.. I'm sick (how great is that, huh?) so pls. bear with me... smooches!

switch to LED lights

Christmas is not even over yet and we are talking about Halloween lights now, how time sure flies by super fast. The minute you know, it's already Halloween! I am thinking of switching to LED lights next year. I wanna hang some by the window, to create that creepy light effect from the top... anyways, back to LED lights. Why is it so important, you ask? well, my friend you asked the right question. Switching to LED lights is energy efficiency so it can really save you a lot of money, unlike the incandescent bulbs which can be a bit pricey for the pocket. It's safe for the whole family and for your home, You will never ever have to worry about holiday fires because It's encased in a nearly indestructible epoxy casing so don't worry about breaking glass bulbs. that also goes for filament burning up, not to mention rust proof if you are planning to put most of your Halloween lights outdoors where moist and rain can get to it. and of course, last but not the least you don't have to have expensive power converters and no need for transformers, too. HolidayLEDs.com can assist you finding the right LED lighting to suit your needs. visit their website right now and learn more about LED lighting, and they will help you prepare for the next holiday decorative lighting of your choice. So check out what featured products they have, You just might find that special LED lights. remember, it will save you money and power. perfect for the family, perfect for your pocket.

cuz was here!

My cousin Bryan called today and paid us a visit, the last time we saw him was December of last year, he's in the Navy so for like 7 months he was out at sea. poor boy, he's a very laid back kid, he's as old as my brother around 21 years old. He was so happy to tell us that he was finally moving out of the barracks coz he just got promoted to E5, good for him. Well, I am really glad he visited us, he's a very thoughtful cousin. good thing I had a lil gift wrapped up for him when he came, glad mom made spaghetti and we had some egg custard pie in the fridge, pretty good. He told us how he would like to prepare for the Officer package, I'm pretty sure he will do well and work his way up since his dad my other family relatives are in the military. (sigh) I was the only one who didn't go for the military thing.. I don't know, I guess it wasn't for me...

here he is when they were in Japan. He'll probably drop by someday again, too bad today I was really, really sick and I felt like crap, for real. man, meds aren't doing good to me AT ALL. ugh. merry christmas to me...

our simple christmas tree

I've been tagged by ate Scart so here's our simple tree.

Our tree is very small, It's enough for us to gaze at. We really opted for a smaller tree instead of buying a huge one. It's artificial of course, I really wanted to have a real fresh smelling fresh cut christmas tree so the aroma would fill the room. but this would be ok. usually after thanksgiving day it's a tradition now for us to decorate the tree, and my son had a great time helping me put the ornaments up especially the candy canes and last the christmas star. each year I like to add at least one ornament to the tree to tell it's story. It may be small but it's a very special tree to us, it tells us how our life is as simple as this tree but full of happiness it can bring. that's all I can say about it. Our small christmas tree can be simple but a lot of cheerfulness thoughts it can bring especially with kids like my son who is so fond of putting up the tree.

now, I would love to see the wonderful christmas trees of these wonderful ladies, Noreen, Shabem, Chikai, Girlie, Lutchi and Liza.

need air tools?

I am not very good when it comes to tools, but my husband loves buying tools, if you ask me. It's like a fetish of his, he loves to look and examine the details and if he likes it he'll buy it. I am pretty sure one day when we'll have our own home we can always use the extra room to put his tools there, I myself don't have any idea of whatsoever what each tool does. but from reading and asking my hubby I now understand what each one does. I remember my sister-in-law she knows how to handle tools around the house especially when her husband gets deployed. When I was checking out this website at etoolsnow.com I was surprised to see how much tools I still don't know about. what a pity. maybe someday I can give my husband this kind of gift of assorotment of tools, I just can't right now since we don't need it yet plus we don't have the room to keep it in. perhaps you have a business or you are simply fond of collecting tools, you might want to add the Ingersoll Rand air tools to your collection, I just know this website has a lot to offer and it's simply the best for every home hobbyist.

the best mounts

At first my hubby wanted to buy a plasma tv, but I told him maybe when we get our own home someday he can do whatever he wants especially plasma tv's are much nicer when they are mounted on the wall, since we are renting we don't want to ruin the walls because of the equipments we're going to use. So we just bought a regular LCD tv which was fine, we didn't had any fancy stands so we used the black wooden stand from our old tv. Maybe you are interested in getting a plasma mount for your plasma tv? I know where you can find the best mounting solutions and it's at Standsandmounts.com where they have a lot of variety of mounts perfect for all your plasma needs. Mounting your Plasma can save it from little kids pushing it like what my son does to our tv, he thinks it's a toy! can you believe how troubling is that? I'm pretty sure you do. You can choose the way you want your plasma to be mounted, It's up to you whether it's on the ceiling or on the wall, or you maybe you just want to have the simple pole mount. I went to check out their website and they have a lot in store for you, go check it out yourself and see what mounting solution you prefer. remember, there is free shipping on every item!

Jon's birthday + christmas cards

first of all thank you for all the wonderful birthday greetings for my hubbykins, I really appreciate it very much. I'm a bit sad coz I missed a lot of opps, some already been expired on me, how sad... so anyways, I have to catch up with everything. So much has happened but I'll do it one a time. So, guess what we had for for Jon's birthday? hahaaa- HAM! yep, he decided to give it a go for the yummy spiral ham we had in the fridge, that was supposed to be for christmas but I guess we'll have to cook something else by then.

And I baked him a devil's food chocolate cake topped with chocolate frosting and marshamallows. When he came home for work We went to the movies, my treat and we watched "I am Legend", It was a pretty good movie if you ask me since I love movies that make you jump (lol) but the birthday boy wasn't really happy with the outcome of the movie, it wasn't exactly spectacular the way he expected it to be. I told him that he should not be expecting a lot from a movie and it's not his kind of movies either that's why he was a bit upset. he doesn't have to be upset since it was my treat, but we had to say goodbye to $38.00 since that was supposed to be (paid posts) money for gifts, oh well hahaha... that's the reason why we only go to the dollar movie theatre, coz when a movie comes out crappy your dollar is worth it, you don't need to weep hehee.

THANK YOU, LADIES!!!

gold chains

Christmas is days away, and can you believe I didn't get to wrap our presents yet? I am so lucky my little one isn't at the age where they usually snoop around for presents hidden around the house. I didn't do my holiday shopping yet, how sad, I have to go throught the holiday shopping rush. Oh well, I only buy gifts for those who are good this year. Are you planning on buying something for your loved one? anything in particular? maybe Jewelry perhaps? I know how jewelries affect women, and you can always find it at jewelelegance.com. Come check out their choices of elegant pieces, maybe you would like to purchase a new gold chain for your wife, they have gold chains in all designs, all in 14 karat gold. a stinky situation

Oh gosh, my mom is currently cooking Danggit and it stinks like hell! She just opened the bedroom door which I am currently finishing a few pending tasks, I didn't know she was cooking it, oh golly it sure stinks. I love danggit very much but that one.. phew.. anyways, my mom informed me that she has to stop cooking it or else our neighbors will protest (lol) I wish we live in a regular house, so we can do whatever we want, here in the condo we're very much intimidated to cook dried fish like daing and tuyo lol. So afraid they will smell it. I told her it'll be fine as long as she opens the windows and turns on the exhaust fan. oh, I just heard the click of the stove being turned off, thank good ness! I remembered this one hispanic lady at work was sitting down and eating lunch with me, one of the baggers came in and opened her tupperware which filled the room with the smell of bagoong and tuyo, somthing like that. As soon as the lady went to the bathroom... boy, my co worker gave a stink eye towards the tupperware. I told her why don't she move into the next break room if it really stank so bad, but she told me she'll stay because the time she moves in the next break room her 15 minutes will be over. hehee, so funny!

for the trendy preggy

I hate to admit it, When I was pregnant with my son I didn't really had enough maternity clothes because according to my mother-in-law when she was pregnant before she only had three maternity dress to change into which she wash and wears. She totally convinced me! Oh well, what's the use of having a lot of maternity clothes if you will only use it for 9 months? But When we go to the mall I always admire the fashion lines for pregnant women, I would always tell hubby how I'd like to dress fashionably cute someday with my second pregnancy. Even a few clothes will do. I love fashion, too I would draw a lot of clothes eversince I was five. But being pregnant is another thing, it inspires me to design for hot pregnant moms out there, too bad I didn't really live to have my dream, but it's not too late, right? maybe someday, who knows. anyways, moving on I found another uber cute fashionable line of preggy mom clothing line and that's at kikisfashions.com. This is definitely for those hot momma's out there who are hip, trendy and sexy! Well, I know you don't have to be sexy physically in order to fit into one of these, but if you will wear one of these clothes you'll be sexier and cute than ever! How I wish I can be pregnant right now. So if you're a preggy woman, come visit kikisfashions.com for all your maternity clothing needs. enjoy!

It's your birthday!

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HALSKI! WE LOVE YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!

Tomorrow Dec. 15 is hubby's special birthday. He'll be turning 35 and he's not liking it (lol) I don't have anything for him but I told mom We'll just cook the big ham we have in the refrigerator and maybe some spaghetti since I'm off tomorrow. and of course some hugs and kisses for the birthday man!

missing Jo...

I am missing my bestfriend Joan so much, like a week or two I chatted with her and she showed me pics of her daughter Dhaina, my how she's grown! and she's only 2. such a cutie! she's my inaanak (godchild). I saw this from her friendster so I had to snag it =D. They are still in Korea, they finally moved out of her MIL's house, that's pretty good to hear. She's still looking good as always. Everytime I go online She's not visible, but because of our time differences, it's pretty hard to stay in touch. but I'm happy though coz she finally updated her friendster, she deleted her other account (I really don't know why) anyways, bes if you're reading this I miss you na po! pakiss na lang kay baby...

JINGLE BELLS, JINGLE BELLS...

bedding

When I was younger everytime I look at the closet I see all these kinds of beddings we had and I was always irritated if my mom talks about how we need new beddings for our bed. Is it that important? I thought. Now I am all grown up, as a mother I find it hard to believe that once when I was a kid I used to hate hearing my aunties and mom talk about stuff like beddings and all. Now I really appreciate it, Everytime I visit department stores I go straight to beddings section. I would really love to purchase some uniquely designed beddings like this Native Art Southwest Bedding below, for example.

This kind of Southwest Bedding has great unique nomadic designed patterns, The warm colors and the symbols make up for the Southwest. Any special events coming up? perhaps you need to buy a christmas present for a loved one or a family friend, this will be a great gift. I am thinking of purchasing one someday. And look, They also have Personalized & Custom SouthWest Beddings, too. how great is that? You can put any digital image or any kind of specialization you want on your Southwest bedding. great for gifts, if you ask me. So if I were you, give it a try now, you got nothing to lose.

Cloverfield movie

Ooooooo, I just watched the new cloverfield movie trailer, as I've read around the net they showed the 2nd trailer before the Beowulf movie, I believe. This is sooooo awesome, I've been waiting some news on this movie for quite a long time now. Keeping it a secret that long.. well, It better be good! can't wait to see it on January. I'm a sucker for monster movies like this. I am guessing it's some kind of underwater collosal creature, coz if you have noticed the poster, the Statue of Liberty, something was moving under the water. freaky ain't it? If you haven't seen the trailer yet, here it is. be the judge!

What do you think it will be? Everyone's been saying it's Godzilla, but hell no I don't think Abrams will completely do that, keeping everything in wraps then later we all find out that it's only Godzilla? I don't think he's that stupid to do that. I think this next monster of his is the next big thing. an original. So, can you guess what monster it is? =D love to hear from you.

Christmas for me is the time of giving, sharing, spreading cheer and just being nice to one another. for me christmas is not about buying material things or receiving gifts. It's more on being happy and contented of what you have. I love Christmas very much because of it's cool month, the Christmas breeze we can all feel just gives that warmth of happiness and love. That's all I can say about christmas... it's a happy joyous month for me where everyone gathers as one, It's that special day where Christ our savior was born. diamonds...

A girl's bestfriend. I am truly happy to have a wonderful husband who gave me a wedding ring that matches his which has 6 diamonds on it. I treasure it a lot and I make sure I clean it at least once a day. I love diamond rings, but It's ok if I can't have more, I can understand that since I love my rings anyway, why need more, right? A few weeks ago my husband was talking to my mother-in-law from the Philippines, that night my hubbykins hugged me and told me that his mom is planning on making me a 3 stoned diamond ring, I gasped in disbelief thinking it was a joke, but he said it was true, so he had to make sure I send my ring size so she can have it made. can you believe that? I mean, I'm not her daughter... I told hubby about how I felt, I really told him I didn't deserve to have another diamond ring just like the diamond ring she gave me on our 1st wedding anniversary, that's enough for me I'm sure happy and contented of what I have, he told me that I am part of her family now, she said that I'm like a daughter to her, which really made me cry a bit. I'm really blessed to have her as my mother-in-law.

Well, I just had to tell you that exciting news, too bad I didn't send my ring size, though, I think I'm not ready to have another ring just yet. maybe next time, who knows? Now, if you are planning on something special for the love of your life you might be interested on buying her a diamond ring? Believe me, all girls would love to be presented with one of these, her world would be like heaven, and on top of the clouds because I swear when hubbykins gave me my wedding ring on my 19th birthday I was totally shocked, happy, emotional and I thought I was on cloud 9! you can visit mysolitaire.com and choose from the best diamond rings they have. make someone happy this christmas, It's worth the visit if you check out their selections and if you are on a budget, worry no more because they have the diamond ring budget selections, great diamond rings that you can afford in no time. So what are you waiting for? visit now!

OH, SANTA BABY!

I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING...

Weeeeeeee I am sooooo happyyyy!! I got my present from santa, and I am very happy and contented about it. My hubbykins called me at work yesterday and was asking me my favorite IPOD color, and I told him anything would be nice but he shouldn't buy me anything yet coz I am still thinking about it... So he called me again a few minutes later then tells me to forget about it, he'll buy it next time. Well, I wasn't disappointed or anything, I was just happy that he didn't buy it. but when I came home around 11:00 last night, right there sitting on my laptop is my new silver IPOD NANO! with a lil post it note on top of it, how sweet.. he was already asleep then... I also cried when he woke up and told me how he loves me so much and how I deserve to have all the happiness in the world. A thank you christmas gift for taking care of him and our son. aww..

Yep, something to motivate me to work out (lol) I have to start walking again from work as soon as this rainy weather goes away that's for sure. he made a good choice buying this one instead of the touch, this was the one I always wanted. I really didn't care much for the touch, this one is much cuter... I love you, sweetie...

ho-hum

It was my first time working with D again (she's korean, by the way) anyways it's been a few weeks since they had a closed door meeting with us (minus me) in the cash cage, coz I had to fetch my hubbykins from his work. from what I heard they had a serious meeting, with yelling and crying... and What L told me that D was telling our supervisor and manager that she was always the bad guy, say what?? Inside the cash cage there's about 9 of us, all of us are against her because of her poor work ethics. She's a really nice person but she always finds a way to buy your friendship, you know. Why do we end up hating her? as much as possible even if we find ways to calm ourselves down and try to like her she ends up breaking our trust in the end. here's why...

1. She always comes in early or late, then ends up vanishing for about 20 minutes or so after arriving at work.
2. When she gets a phone call from a customer, she ends up passing it to us and says she doesn't understand what the customer is saying.
3. When there's a customer at the window, she pretends she doesn't see them.
4. When she starts something she ends up passing that duty to us.
5. She ends up stressed when there isn't anything to stress about.
6. She has poor customer service, she tends to yell at the customer if they get a lil uptight about something.
7. Working for 6 years in the cash cage, I am so surprised to know that she doesn't know how to process coupon payments, she comes to me for help because she knows I'll say YES.
8. She talks stories behind everybody's back.
9. When she gives you something or buys you coffee, she's very nice. but when she makes a mistake and we try to inform her nicely, she ends up bringing the subject back on how she treats us with coffee and all (how lame is that?) that's why sometimes it's good to say no.
10. She doesn't know how to communicate, she tells us that she's a hardworker when seriously she's not.
11. She's a fake! When you first meet her you'd think she would be your bestfriend to the end.
12. She tends to be such a bossy woman. When there are newcomers she feels like she can make them her own lil puppets, do this do that blah blahh...

And now, folks.. that's the reason why we hate her. One day she asked ate L

"Why do you guys hate me? is it because I'm korean??" no hunnie, we're not racists ok. We try our best to love every person we work with because it's hard working when you loathe someone at work, you only end up being stressed, and I don't need that. I focus to love my work and my friends better inspite of all that. I want harmony when we're working, it gives us positive vibes and we never create major mistakes that can jeopardize our whole day..

So When I got to work with her I thought I would see a totally changed person. I guess you can't change a person after all. She's still doing all those things. so we decided to keep a low profile, when she asks us something we will answer her, but for talking stories and all that jazz, forget it. Maybe someday, she will change. I pity her, coz she's a christian and she talks about God often, but she doesn't practice what she preaches.

what babies love...

Of course you know what they want. I love babies very much and I can still remember the very first day I found out that I was pregnant, I was so overjoyed with the feeling of having a baby. I started browsing hundreds and hundreds of baby books, parenting magazines, and watching TLC for baby programs. Well, not to mention dragging my hubby to department stores and shopping for baby items. It's such a wonderful feeling. back then, We were only starting and we were a lot grateful to most of our family and friends who are very supportive, they were very kind enough to lend us a hand, gave a lot of baby stuff to us, majority were hand me downs from my sister-in-law that weren't even used yet. But for our second baby some day we'll be so happy to have an addition to the family, and I know where to start and that store will be at ababy.com where they feature most cute designed baby furniture that you will surely love. How I love to have our own home someday so we can have our baby's own room so we can set up a nursery where I can put most of the baby stuff there, they have every baby item you can find ranging from changing tables, gliders, mattresses, baby cribs, children bunk beds to night stands. And if it's about baby cribs you can find a lot at luxurylamb.com where you can find cute designed cribs, A perfect choice for any mother. They have all the kinds of designs for your lil angel, purchasing stuff at their store will make your tiny angel's room a heavenly place to spend time at. Millionaire Memorabilia

I always remember my dad back then he loves collecting memorabilia from all sorts of things, he would have a trunk full of it. he started collecting it as a hobby eversince he was younger. Then he shares it with us, the stories that came with it. I think collecting all kinds of memorabilia is not bad, I myself wish we have our own home so I can have the space where I can collect and display my own collected memorabilia, too. What interests me is this website Millionairememorabilia.com. I think it's awesome to collect some things from Hollywood celebrities, They have all kinds of things that you can see like autographed memorabilias from movie and sports entertainment. You can choose from signed and unsigned stuff from music, sports, movies and Historical collectibles. I am pretty sure there are a lot of people out there who would love to collect memorabilia, and I think you should start from this site, they have everything. Browse their selections, Millionaire Memorabilia is known to provide the finest in authentic huge selection of Memorabilia. How I would love to collect some of those, maybe one day.. who knows, right?

memorabilia

We can all have a hobby that we can enjoy. I especially love the idea of a home theatre, where you have your Memorabilia posters all around the room, It will make your home just as classy. I remember my dad, he loves collecting celebrity posters like the ones we have of James Dean, Elizabeth Taylor and I can't seem to remember if that was elvis Presley? anyway, you might want to check out the celebrity engraved signature collection, the classics are the best. I'm not ready to collect Hollywood Memorabilia just yet, Well it can be a bit pricey in the pocket and I am pretty far away from that hobby that's for sure. If you're a collector, be sure to drop by this awesome site or you can call toll free 888-446-5768

It’s just those rainy days...

hehee, song from Mary J. Blige.. yep, it's raining for about a week now. it's sunny, then it's rainy, we had some heavy winds the other day power lines and trees broke and fell into the road, we lost our cable and internet connection yesterday, that's why I didn't get to blog. The other night after work at 10:30 while me and my work buddy Leona were walking to the car heavy winds was really making a lot of trees make those creeky sounds, and even our vehicles were starting to move, that was really scary! Even on top of our condo we had a hard time opening the doors coz of the pressure from the wind that was coming from the exit door that kept on opening.

We went to Bestbuy yesterday, looked for ps2 games that were on sale... then we went to the mp3 section, hubby kept on hinting how he would like to buy me the ipod touch instead of the ipod nano. then later on he changes his mind and says he might not get it for me for christmas. I felt sad, but I know my hubbykins, he plays with my mind =D like what he did with when he got me my sony vaio laptop, and I know for sure I'll get that. but seriously, It's really not important. I'm not expecting anything, I'd rather buy something for them, Like I always say, there are more important things in life than just splurging your money on material things. I might just buy clothes instead.. but who knows.. we'll see.

grand getaways

I always wanted to go on vacation but me and hubby are saving to go somewhere really worthwhile. So for now, we're stuck here. Maybe one day We can go somewhere where we can relax and have the whole family with us just having fun. But sometimes, I feel like I want to go somewhere different, somewhere unique, experiencing something entirely fun for the family, and not the same old thing you guys always go on vacation, like branson getaways at Branson Missouri, now this is what I'm thinking about, although I'm not really sure if hubby is up to it, he is a very fun loving adventurous guy though, I don't know what he thinks of it. I've never been to a lot of states but I promised myself I would visit all states as much as possible, I'd like to add this getaway a part of my book of travels, it looks so much fun. Branson, Missouri is home of many attractions, it's called the "Live Music Capital of the World". Branson's theme parks is one thing, too because I love theme parks very much, I get amused quickly. So, are you planning anything in a week or two? or the next few months or so? Branson Getaways will be able to help you with your plans. Choose from their popular vacation packages or make your own vacation plan.

cluttered mind

got tagged by my sweet sister JennyR thank you so much, dear!

Your Mind is 54% Cluttered
Your mind is starting to get cluttered, and as a result, it's a little harder for you to keep focused.
Try to let go of your pettiest worries and concerns. The worrying is worse than the actual problems!

I say, it's really true! but who doesn't have a cluttered mind anyway??? It's pure baloney if you really have 0% of mind clutter hehee. I am pretty sure everyone has a bit running up their head. What can I say? I do think about a lot of stuff, I mostly think about the future, what's ahead of us. We always dream of the great never ending possibilities. So I'm proud to say my mind is at least half cluttered.

Smorty is love

When I started on the net a few years ago I discovered blogging as a great healthy tool to express yourself wholeheartedly. I myself was very quite contented when I found out about blogging. I gained a lot of friends online because of this, and not just any friends but great friends, they are more like my sisters for real inspite the fact we've never met yet. With all the connections with them, I really feel special being invited with pretty good things, like for example is this paid blogging. I've never had the courage to do paid blogging since I was invited last year, I was completely curious about it but never had the chance to ask anyone about it. I had a lot of questions in mind, not to mention thinking about it every night, trying to convince myself to give it a go. I was scared that I might run out of time for it, what I'm trying to say is I'll probably have no time to do it because of me being a working mommy, but then I asked hubbykins about it and he told me to give it a try. I have been a porud member for a few months now, and it helps me earn a little extra treat for the family. One of these great paid blogging sites is Smorty, and I may say it's pretty good working with them, their pay is reasonable if you add them all together, it can really give you extra $$$. Smorty is great if you ask me, and it's one of the great paid blogging sites out there and I'm not going to give up on it. You're not obliged to do the assignments right away, well of course it's up to you if you want to accept or decline it. You can seriously get paid for blogging if you love to blog, but before joining this awesome site, you have to have a blog first. must be indexed by google and yahoo, and it has to be older than three months, doesn't contain hate related, adult or any violent contained subjects. get paid to blog and at the same time enjoy your time doing it, you have all the advantages, there is nothing to lose. You are doing the things you love and earning money at the same time. come on and register now, It's free!

hair drama

shooots... I am sooooo sick and tired of my hair. I need a haircut! It's heavy and It feels hot, plus it takes a lot of my time when I'm getting ready for work, I have to adjust my time since I don't use a blow dryer for my hair. maybe I'll go to the salon before christmas, let's see. Eversince I was younger I always had long hair up to my hips, but when I was about to meet my hubby the first time We decided to chop my long locks and give it an edge, I tried for the layer look for the first time, no kidding. I loved it and it's much more manageable this time. When I had my baby I really hated having long hair since it always gets in the way, but once in awhile I get to grow it long then I have to go to the salon again. I rarely have split ends, can't you believe the last time I visited a salon was march 16 of last year? I know, what a pity.. They say you have to at least go to the salon every 6 months for a haircut, I decided not to be spoiled when it comes to my hair, as long as I treat it real good, my hair will be fine. I don't use hair colors either, so I won't have to be stuck dealing with hair problems which is good. now, I guess It's time for my hair a lil treat...

no more an addict

When I heard that one of my family friends' son was into drug use I felt very sorry for him. The last time I saw him he was walking in one of the the streets close to our school, wearing a ripped shirt and baggy shorts. I was surprised to see him that day, didn't even even say hello to me I guess he couldn't remember me because we were schoolmates in my previous school like almost a decade ago. but yeah, he had huge dark eyebags, he was so thin like an anorexic, his hair was so messy, you would think he had starved to death. that's when I learned from my mom that he got himself involved with drugs. how sad is that. If you have a family member, friends or any loved ones that are involved with any kind of addiction that involves drugs or alcohol the only place that can help them is at drugrehabsunsetmalibu.com. yay for December!

It's christmas in the Cruz household! I always love this cheerful month. everyone is so nice to each other, christmas trees, fresh pine trees, the cold weather, the smell of hot cocoa in the air, bells, ribbons, wreaths... It's just wonderful. I didn't do my christmas shopping yet, maybe in a week or two I don't know yet. The day after thanksgiving, as it is a traditional part of our family to put up the christmas decorations, hang the small stockings, the green ribbon with bells on our door and setting up the tree, my son helped me put the ornaments on since our tree is very small as you can see, I'm not ready to have a fresh tree just yet, maybe when we own a home I can settle for a fresh tree every year. my son enjoyed decorating the tree very much, here's my lil boy...

not much a fan of eggnog, but christmas only comes once a year so I usually buy some and drink at least once a day. just sprinkle some nutmeg and you're good to go. It usually helps me revive the memories of what our dad used to make on christmas days back then when we were little.

Christmas is just around the corner, let's spread some cheer and happiness around the world. I'll be making a post at least once a day until the great day comes, so don't miss out, I promise.

I have 4 days off woohooo! fri, sat, sun and mon. my manager had put the first and second week days off all together that's why it seems a lot, but it's great I don't mind. We still need to do a lot of stuff though. we're going to take flat Stanley around the island tomorrow, so we can send it back to Korea. have a wonderful blessed day to all!

Sweeney Todd's coming

Eversince I was a younger kid I was always a fan of Johnny Depp's movies, I am serious! I just love how he acts, very convincing. Especially from his Edward Scissorhands flick back in 1990, I loved that one, it also made me cry, thanks to Tim Burton for creating such a great movie. Most of my friends think Johnny Depp is a really cool actor, he was an excellent one in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Now enters Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Well, I've read some good things about it, I already saw the Trailer and I think it may be a pretty good one, especially this movie will feature Johnny Depp singing! how great is that? and yes, of course, what do you know... Tim Burton is once again behind the camera on this one, I love Tim Burton as a director, he directs pretty great movies and I am so sure myself I will be seeing this at the theatres. Can't wait for it, really I am so excited! but, listen here... Do you want to write down your confessions? you know for me, It's great once in awhile to vent out what you feel. I myself have some things I wanted to confess but I don't have that will power to do so, but as they say it's great to spill your confessions, may it be with friends, or maybe you might want to write it down? it's up to you, whatever makes you comfortable to voice out what you feel about something. And I think a great way to do that is visit http://www.buzznet.com/profile/sweeneytodd and you can always write down your confessions. I have one confession to make, and I hope it doesn't scare you. It happened like around grade school, I was new at my school and I made good friends right away. She was on top of the class while I came second on our cream of the crop. she really had some issues, she would create stories behind my back which my friends wouldn't really believe. I didn't fight back if she bad mouthed me in front of my face. She would pinch me if the teacher wasn't looking, I would just endure the pain and not say anything. She was one of my greatest enemies back then, a pure brat who loves attention from boys, she easily got jealous of me when I win spelling bees and poster making contests, which I was proud to say she wasn't very good at. I hated her so much but I always gave her a sweet smile in return. But seriously, with the pinching scene earlier at school When I went home I cried so bad, my parents didn't knew I drew a doll that looked exactly like her and pushed pins through it, and wished she would get sick, the next day at school she called in sick. That gave me the goosebumps. Was it a coincidence or what? So yeah, I got so scared. after that I just prayed to God to make me a better person and not do a thing like that again. She was the only girl who picked on me back in elementary, and what can you expect from a kid like me? when I was in high school she never did talk to me again, I guess I earned her respect, she would just give me a smile in our corridors when I walked pass her with my friends since I got accelerated a year higher than her. I still see her in friendster and I may say her life is boring the way I see it. too bad, she was such an intelligent girl, too. If she only did good way back then her life would be as much interesting today.

Please do visit the site and I think once you're done you'll feel good about it. You might want to visit the official Sweeney Todd movie site and don't forget to also visit Sweeney Todd on MySpace. Sweeney Todd is coming out in theatres on Dec. 21st, don't miss it!
