All Hallow's Eve

awwooooooo! did everyone have a safe trick or treating? I surely hope so. We just got back a few hours ago, we actually left the house around 7:00 pm because unfortunately the day didn't turn out as well as we expected it to be. can't you believe it RAINED?! yes, it rained so Our plans of going out to trick or treat at the mall was also postponed because of this! see? rain and traffic, what a great combination! we were all disappointed since we would love to take lil Nate out trick or treating, so they slept for about 2 hours, and woke up around 6:45, traffic finally subsided, I don't know if there was an accident on the freeway or what I tried searching for it in the news, coz the freeways are all packed, I even checked the Hononolulu traffic cam online to see how's the bumper to bumper traffic.



so anyways, after the rain stopped we saw children finally coming out of their houses dressed in their costumes, we decided to give it a go. sadly after 2 houses it started raining bad again! bummer. off we went to Pearlridge mall, but unfortunately they were already done giving away candy, rats. so we went back home again but decided to past by a few houses, thank goodness Nathan collected enough candies, his pumpkin wasn't that full but it was all good, it started to rain hard again (oh golly) what a Halloween night we had. It's so funny coz while I was walking a girl passed by me staring at my lighted horns "I love your horns!" and she couldn't stop staring at it, her costume was also a she devil but her horns doesn't light up hehee.

Thank you so much for all those who gave Halloween gifts, I'm currently finishing my gift section so I'll feature them all there. I am terribly sorry for not being active the last few days, for my schedule was very hectic and I had no time to update to catch up with your posts and some of my paid blogging, oh well I'll finish all those tomorrow. so how are you guys doin'? anyways my week went ok, yesterday we went around walmart and I was so happy to see they had the Amber spray in stock, it's about time! I've been coming back and forth for about 3 weeks now to see if they already had it but yaayy, it finally came! I swear I love this smell so much, it's among my favorites. Makes me sleepy, and plus it's so cheap! $3.52 per bottle, not bad eh? so yeah, I had to shop for pens and autumn flowers to make into pens for work, as well as a new squeegie for our van.

Oh yes, of course we do celebrate it every year. it's fun! especially for lil kids.

Scary or just another yearly event? Explain:

It's a bit scary, but I always tell my son that it's only a traditional event for children who loves to dress up and become what they like, scary or not. it doesn't mean they have to involved with scary stuff like what other people thinks.

Scare or be scared? Explain:

hahaa, either way, if we own a house I'd dress up for sure and make the best scariest house yet! I'd like to scare kids that's for sure, but I love being scared, too--- I don't know why, adrenaline rush maybe?

Give out candy or receive candy? Explain:

Give out candy, of course I am sick of candies already, not so good hahaha =) and plus I like making kids happy.

This year, staying home or going out? Explain:

Oh, we go out and spend some family scary time walking around the neighborhood seeing ghosts and ghouls everywhere, It's just pure fun if you ask me.

my achy breaky heart

Don't you just hate to be heart broken? of course, the answer would be Yes. I was chatting with my bff on the yahoo a few days ago and she tells me how she's so unlucky when it comes to guys. I myself can't help her with that but to comfort her and tell her it's ok, someday she'll find the right man in her life, who would be as loving and caring than the man she just married 3 years ago. As far as I know, she just hasn't find out the right one yet. I myself had been heart broken plenty of times when I was younger and we all know how hard it is to cope up with the emotions of being dumped, cheated on and so forth. I had a great time chatting with my bestfriend Joan last night. as you all know I had a post about my bestfriend somewhere in my archives and I was badly hurt when I thought our friendship was long gone.. I guess I was wrong after all. I told her how I felt and all that and I'm happy she's back in Korea, she finished a caregiver course back in the PI so I am happy she went back to her husband although they're not that sweet anymore, it's just for the sake of their child that's why they are still together. we had a great time chatting, she's still the friend I knew back in high school. I was relieved to know about her situation from a fellow friend who took up Nursing and they accidentally saw each other in one of the hospitals in San Marcelino. When I knew about that, I felt happy for her. I didn't believe in any accusations that I heard from other friends since they told me they weren't sure if the bad news were real or not. I kept on praying that she will take the right path, and dear God heard me... thank you, God!

Do you love to be fit? and do you just hate dragging yourself to the gym after a hard day's work? Well, I know I do. back then when I was still going to the gym, I usually go after work on evenings, I know it isn't right but for my hectic schedule sometimes I just had to deal with it. burning my gas for the extra few miles I had to drive just to get to my destination, It's really pricey and sometimes I only workout for about 2 hours only, which is really not good at all. so I decided to quit because it wasn't worth it. LCD TV

After finishing our tasks, me and hubby brought my brother to KOA pancake house at Moanalua shopping center and of course we had a hearty breakfast, too bad I didn't take a picture of our meals especially my fave loco moco meal (yum) since the place was full packed with people, I am too darn embarassed to bring out my camera and snap away for pictures =P.

dropped my brother back home and we went to Walmart at pearl highlands, Home Depot and lastly at Pearlridge, at Sears where he was looking for a brand new LCD tv, he badly needs a new one, I told him NO plenty of time but he's being so makulit he wanted the 32" for our bedroom, I really promised myself no new stuff until we get our own home, coz I don't want to waste a lot of stuff you know, especially when it's special to you, it's hard to lose it, not to mention we live here in the Island and I am not sure if we are ever gonna buy a house here. so yeah, around noon time we decided to buy it, coz he actually told me that once in awhile he wants our stuff to be upgraded since most of our stuff are hand me downs from my SIL, and I guess that would be ok...



It's not bad at all, we really had to get rid of the tv we have in our bedroom. that's my hubby's passion, a great entertainment system where he can relax after a hard day's work. I know when the time comes we buy a house for sure he would love a pretty big entertainment system in the living room, I just know it.

I feel terribly sorry for the people who lost all their homes in the California wildfire. One of my hubby's aunt called us just a few minutes ago and told us about the horrifying story about the fire that damaged a lot of homes you can read the story here...

I called all our relatives who lived in San Diego and thank God they live far away from it and so far there is no news yet on when they are going to evacuate, I am just praying hard they won't have to, dear Lord please help the people who lost their homes...

Scary, isn't it? that's the only downside of Nature right there, I can't imagine how strong winds can create some damage like this.

lil miss moody

yesterday the lil miss moody inside me just came out. (cries) I am feeling tired, exhausted, grumpy (not to mention I snapped at dear hubby) I hate feeling this way, I wanna do a lot of things but can't find the time to do it all, I wanna drop by everyone's blogs today but I can't seem I am too sleepy plus lil Nate is bugging me to go to bed already... It's that time of the month again all I wanna do is cry and sleep... I cried all night yesterday, hubby gave me a huge bear hug which made me felt a lot better. why? why do women have to suffer these kinds of emotions? I feel depressed when there's nothing to be depressed about. poor hubby, I feel so bad snapping at him last night (I really do) oh well... I just hope this pain will go away.

reminiscing my childhood...

Reminiscing My Childhood Questions
I have this questions and thought of sharing this to all of you;) You can snag it if you like…I love remembering my childhood..
1. What is the earliest memory you have as a child? Think far back.
Ans: I was brought to Quezon province by my mom's best friend for about a month. She took me everywhere, and every afternoon I would go down the stairs of their house and watch the kids on the street play lutu-lutan with their lil clay pots. they would put lil grains of rice and water and make a small fire underneath the pot then watch it cook. but then ate Wecy (her name) would spank me for disobeying her (she doesn't allow me to go outside someone might kidnap me) a month later I remember getting down the bus and seeing my parents again, I hugged them real hard! I think I was only 4 at that time.

2. What is a special memory you have about someone? It could be a grandparent, family friend - not including your parents - that you knew as a child. What do you recall about them that makes the memory special?
Ans: That would be my Lola Angelita. I remember everytime my aunties or my mom would bring me in our province in cagayan Valley, she would smother me with kisses, spoil me so much with everything, buy me toys, cook me fried chicken if I didn't like what's on the table. She was a real sweetheart. I miss her very much. I just wish she was much closer to us, I feel so bad that she's so far away from us. I know she's sad, too.

3. What was a favorite game you played as a child?
Ans: taguan (hide n seek), of course. hehee, I remember me and my playmates would always play that when the moon is fool or when the city's lights goes out at night. It's pretty funny, and spooky.

4. What was a memorable trip that you can recall being a little kid and what did you do that makes you think about it even now?
Ans: me and my mom went on a mini vacation in Baguio before. It was only me and her, It's so cold over there I remember it was raining so hard when we got off the bus and went to check at Villarosal Hotel. that hotel was funny! coz I remember as me and my mom went out to buy jollibee take out and took it to the hotel, we started freaking out coz of roaches everywhere! eeeekkk but it was fun, though hehee. can't forget that, it still makes me laugh until now.

yep, I am trying hard to save all the money I can just in time before christmas. one by one I am buying my gifts in advance to avoid the Holiday rush. my son is so excited he keeps on pointing at our christmas tree in a box on top of our refrigerator, silly boy it's not even Halloween yet! I try to avoid spending a lot on personal stuff, I only use my paypal money from paid blogging instead to buy our groceries and gas sometimes, I am so happy coz dear hubbykins is very proud of me. he didn't believe me at first coz he asked me one time with a suspicious grin..

eeeeeeekkkk hubby almost bought me an Ipod today! I just said no, it's way too early (ugh) and we ALMOST bought a 32" LCD tv today (lol) he was already lifting the box and wanted to pay at the checkout but I just stopped him coz Thanksgiving sales are just around the corner, he really has to wait now (excited) =D hubby is a huge couch potato, and he really wants to have a new tv in our bedroom since our old tv in our room is a hand me down from my SIL. but seriously, all I want for christmas is an Ipod (I wonder what color, though?) hmmm... more clothes and shoes hehee...
